Ansys Polyflow

2 reviews

Polyflow accelerates design while shrinking energy and raw material demands to make your manufacturing processes more cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. R&D teams use this technology extensively to design and optimize processes such as extrusion, thermoforming, blow molding, glass forming, fiber drawing and concrete shaping. Design engineers use Polyflow to minimize physical prototyping when manufacturing extrusion dies or to reduce thickness variation to improve the quality of thermoformed or blown products

Ansys optiSLang

2 reviews

ANSYS optiSLang optimizes your product designs by combining the powerful parametric modeling capabilities of ANSYS Workbench with the robust design optimization (RDO) methods of optiSLang. The optiSLang toolbox includes modules for sensitivity analysis, optimization and robustness evaluation that you can easily drag and drop into a Workbench project to form an interactive process chain. This process workflow enables your engineering teams to improve product performance, identify optimization potential, quantify risks and secure resource efficiency. ANSYS optiSLang is also available outside of Workbench with its own powerful process integration framework

Ansys Autodyn

2 reviews

ANSYS Autodyn simulates the response of materials to short duration severe loadings from impact, high pressure or explosions. It is best suited for simulating large material deformation or failure. Autodyn provides advanced solution methods without compromising ease of use. Complex physical phenomena such as the interaction of liquids, solids and gases; the phase transitions of materials; and the propagation of shock waves can all be modeled within Autodyn. Integrated within ANSYS Workbench with its own native user interface, this program has for decades led the industry in ease of use, enabling you to produce accurate results with the least amount of time and effort

Ansys nCode DesignLife

2 reviews

ANSYS nCode DesignLife works with ANSYS Mechanical to reliably evaluate fatigue life. Using the results of finite element analysis (FEA) from ANSYS Mechanical, it calculates stresses and strains, then cumulates damage from repetitive loading to determine a product's predicted life. You can quickly evaluate the effects of different materials and alternative geometries for new designs, and then optimize them for the product's expected usage, long before the first prototype is built

Intuitive UI, Reliable Solutions

I really appreciate Ansys Mechanical for its great GUI and meshing capabilities. I like how its tree-like structure with a systematic step-by-step guide makes navigating the software easy. The automated meshing, along with sweep and hex-dominant meshing and feature-based meshing, minimizes user intervention while providing accurate results. Its solver is an industry standard, and now with Discovery and LS-DYNA, it offers fast and reliable solutions. The easy-to-use interface and guided workflows, along with being resourceful with tutorials, make it a preferred choice.

Intuitive Tool for Geometry Cleanup with Speed Hiccups

I like how Ansys SpaceClaim is very easy to handle with lots of options that are easy to use, especially compared to the design modeler. I appreciate that it allows for checking interference and removing extra edges with just one click. It's currently the best tool for cleanup and was very easy to teach my team.
