What's interesting is its all-in-one nature. You can do 3D design, simulation, and even CAM (the machining part) in the same tool, which is very convenient for saving time. File compatibility is excellent; it can open almost any format. As for the price, it's a serious alternative and much more affordable than the big software suites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ZW3D? The slightly disappointing thing is that the interface looks a bit outdated compared to its high-end competitors. When you're handling huge assemblies, the software can be a bit slow, and you really need a powerful machine. What problems is ZW3D solving and how is that benefiting you? ZW3D solved the problem of having to pay for and manage multiple software programs for the same project. It allows me to manage the entire product lifecycle (from design to machining) in a single environment.
