"Windows-Like Experience with Lightweight Efficiency"

What do you like best about Zorin?

I like that Zorin is very lightweight for business desktops. I really appreciate its similar experience to Windows, which is enhanced by the Appstore having a lot of similar apps and a Windows-like theme. I also find apps like LibreOffice, which is similar to Excel by Microsoft, useful for writing documents and legal deals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zorin?

I think Zorin could support more apps. I'd like to see it support apps like WhatsApp Business, MS Edge, and Excel. It wasn't so easy to install, and it doesn't support a lot of customization for drive types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Coolest Lite Weight Linux"

What do you like best about Zorin?

Zorin OS comes with useful features and highly customisable ui.

It uses paper icon and material icons that looks super flashy. It's lite version is used in computer with low hardware configurations but it laggs.

It can also run on 10 years old computer. The lite version requires only 512 mb of RAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zorin?

Although it looks nice but there is an issue with os, it lags on computer system hardware.

Specially when I was using it on my low configuration Compaq presario laptop, it started heating and fans were not slowing down so removed this OS. Few features doesn't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zorin?

Zorin is an ubunto based Linux operating system. So It have lot of software is there to install and use.

The main feature of the zorin is Lightweight and it perfect for old computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zorin?

Nothing to say about disadvantage. But the default file explorer got crash when larger files are copied or moved. However we can fix this simply by installing other file explorers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zorin solving and how is that benefiting you?

In our company, we have more than 40 old computers. We already bought new computers for our office. Because we can't run visual studio and other necessary software's that used for software development.

The old computers have only 4gb ram and 2 core processor. The windows 11 os use more ram and processor. That's why we desided to install the zorin core os in all computer.

After the installation, the old computer working faster than windows. Because the minimum requirement of the zorin core edition is only 2gb ram. Now the old computer can be used for small tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zorin?

What do you like best about Zorin?

It's a secure option for your computer, there are regular daily updates, and its customizability is just amazing, from the wallpapers to the themes, and even the whole OS can be transformed in a few clicks. (with the Pro version) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As you may understand, Linux is not for every single user. This is the case with Zorin, I've deployed a few users with the OS and they didn't like it. They were MAC users and completely refused to migrate to Zorin. (not Zorins fault though) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
