Zebra BI Tables produces clean, IBCS-compliant financial tables out of the box. The variance visualization (waterfall, bullet charts) looks polished and requires minimal DAX setup compared to building everything from scratch in native Matrix. For teams that need presentation-ready P&L reports, the output quality is genuinely good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing is the main issue. We evaluated it for a mid-size Finance team — 15 users — and the Starter plan came out to $50/month in year 1, jumping to $68/month ($816/year) from year 2 onward. For a team that primarily needs MoM/YoY variance columns and pivot-style layout in published reports, that's hard to justify.
The other friction point: Finance users still can't restructure the table layout after publishing without going back to Power BI Desktop. Every time they needed a new comparison column, the request came back to the BI developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
