Yoong is a Vietnam-based IT outsourcing and staff augmentation company that provides dedicated engineering teams to startups, SMEs, and enterprise organizations. The company operates as an execution partner for technology leaders who need to scale product development capacity without expanding internal headcount in their local markets. Objective: Yoong’s objective is to enable companies to build, extend, and operate software products through structured offshore development models that balance cost efficiency, delivery quality, and operational transparency. Core Services: Yoong focuses on service models commonly used in global software development: - Staff Augmentation – Providing individual engineers (frontend, backend, DevOps, QA, AI engineers) integrated directly into client teams. - Dedicated Development Team – Building long-term, cross-functional teams aligned with a client’s roadmap and KPIs. - Offshore Development Center (ODC) – Establishing a scalable offshore unit with defined governance, reporting structure, and delivery processes. - AI & Digital Solution Development – Supporting companies in implementing AI-enabled workflows, automation systems, and data-driven applications. Delivery Model: Yoong applies operational practices commonly associated with Agile software development and distributed team management - Sprint-based execution and milestone tracking - Transparent communication across time zones - Clearly defined roles, SLAs, and performance metrics - Integration with client tooling (Jira, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms) - The company works with clients primarily in the United States and Southeast Asia, where time zone differences are managed through structured overlap hours and asynchronous workflows. Technology Expertise: - Backend technologies (Golang, Node.js, Java) - Frontend frameworks (React, modern JavaScript ecosystems) - Cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices - Relational and NoSQL databases - AI integration and workflow automation Market Positioning Within the IT outsourcing and offshore development market, Yoong positions itself as a structured execution partner rather than a project-based vendor. Engagements are typically long-term and integrated into the client’s core product lifecycle.
