Also it integrates with MyFitnessPal, which is helpful. Also it is relatively easy for clients to upload videos which is great for giving feedback. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** Even though it integrates with MyFitnessPal, you can only view macros, not micros or food log. Not having the full picture can be frustrating. Metrics feature is not helpful at all, but there is no other way to track a clients bodyweight. Exercise library videos are really terrible, form on those videos is that of a very novice lifter. I have to upload my own videos for just about every exercise. Habits/lifestyle coaching features are very new and should have a separate space in the app, they really clam up the client's calendar and make things look overwhelming. **What problems is Xplor TrueCoach solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing a platform for me to program for my clients and track progress. **Official Response from TrueCoach Support:** > Hi Madeline! I would appreciate it if customers could reschedule their training days themselves. It often happens that they are unable to complete a workout as scheduled but make it up on the next or following day. A kind of group chat or group features, and the ability to send specific messages to all my clients, would be fantastic. **What problems is Xplor TrueCoach solving and how is that benefiting you?** Contact with clients, training planning, and exercise videos are very helpful. **Official Response from TrueCoach Support:** > Hi Dimitri! Having the ability to use almost exclusively the keyboard without having to touch the mouse means I can enter programming rather quickly. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** They haven't been the most responsive to feature requests. In particular, I have been requesting an API just for simple integrations with Zapier. I've automated the entirety of my client on-boarding and off-boarding processes, with the sole exception of TrueCoach. It's an annoying manual process. My clients don't like that it is so difficult to review exercise history, in particular progress graphs and PRs. They continue to add unrequested features to clutter up the UI and break functionality on mobile browsers. They spam you with banners for stuff you don't care about, and there is no way to opt out of it. They also clutter the screen with Intercom chat bubbles. This is huge. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** I prefer to do things in person, but for the athletes that enjoy the online training this makes it easier. I dislike getting on the computer. **What problems is Xplor TrueCoach solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organization and delivering the program to the client. Keeping track of the clients that are online. It is easy for the whole - out of sight out of mind - to take place. With the reminders etc. through TrueCoach it is very helpful to have a consistent system and reminders so I am on top of things. I like the extensive exercise library they have, making creating the workouts a lot easier to create. the customer service is great as well and has helped me when I have had a few queries about a few things. I also like how they are always looking to add new features along the way. Overall Truecaoch is very easy to use, and very good for connecting to other apps such as My Fitness Pall as well to help with nutrition. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** The only thing I am I do not like is the lack of freedom of allowing the client to create their own workout. Sometimes I will tell a client they have a freedom week where they can do whatever they choose (within reason) but I have to create a 'workout' to let them tell me what they did and they cannot create their own. I can easily build workouts and programmes for the squads that I write for. They can see what they need to do and upload their results. Their results are documented and easily tracked. Whenever I have a problem the customer service is helpful and quick. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** The price, obviously. Also, I've been using TrueCoach since it was FitBot - so a long time and there seems to be customer loyalty benefits. I'd like a payment processor to be added soon so am looking forward to that update. Sometimes the exercise library doesn't have a movement I want in it (or its named something unfamiliar to me). But it's easy to link your own videos in there. **Recommendations to others considering Xplor TrueCoach:** It's great! I find the tags and labels helpful when groupong programs, and clients. My clients enjoy having MyFitness Pal connected to streamline nutrition goals, and I can easily adjust their goals as needed! There is way more I can speak on, but these are the top feature that has helped me level up my services! **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** Only thing I wish was easier is to move workouts in sections, e.i. a whole week or month. It's very easy to implement and to use for your clients, and the customer support is always available to hear your suggestions. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** The organization of tempo, reps, resting times could be improvized in a way they look more organized, and the superset division could be more delimited between one another, so the client can recognize the different supersets with more ease. **What problems is Xplor TrueCoach solving and how is that benefiting you?** The difficulty clients have to workout remotely. Good for writing workouts. Need to be able to automatically repeat the habit for a set period of time and define SMART goals. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** The habit feature needs the ability to define SMART goals. Would like to be able to pause a client's payment and not have to cancel and restart. It is an important metric for my coaching business, and the biggest drawback currently. I haven't switched to another platform because it's easier to create programs in Truecoach. My favorite feature is being able to do a simple keyword search to bring up every time I've ever put a specific exercise in their program in the past. **What do you dislike about Xplor TrueCoach?** There is nothing that I find 'least helpful' about TrueCoach. It provides me with everything I need and gives my clients a smooth interface to engage with for each of their woriouts.
