## Xcitium Reviews
  ### 1. Is Dragon Endpoint Manager the Best Endpoint Protection?

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

The best part about this endpoint manager is it is using Comodo's patented Auto-Containment technology for known and unknown threats. Its EDR capability for detection and response of various known and unknown threats is super useful in my organization.
the customer support during the deployment is super efficient and active. i was personally very much impressed how quickly and responsibly the issues were getting resolved in no time.
the implementation in my network was quite good and efficient as it didn't take us too much of man days for the deployment.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

To understand the working of this product we need specialized training as different functions needs to be understood by the user. it is a bit of a hassle for me and my team.
it uses a lot of hardware resources from the device, leading the low end device laging a lot performing basic tasks.
it not easy for non techies to understand the usage and deployment along with integration with different products across the network.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped my organization in managing all the endpoints in a single console along with its EDR capabilities which helped us a lot as we didn't need to purchase separate license for EDR and managing its console.

  ### 2. Trying, but not just there.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

It is an all in one platform that has it all at a single price.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

Pricing is complicated and unknown - What is communicated is not what is billed.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an all in one platform that connects to several different solutions at a single price point.

  ### 3. Review on Comodo Security Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

The interface might seem a little difficult to beginners

**Recommendations to others considering Xcitium:**

  ### 4. Effective Next Gen AEP - Antivirus Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nemi G. | Vice President, Information Security Officer | Service Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

Effective AI Driven AEP solution. The containment feature works very effectively and isolates any malicious files, etc. It also contains more traditional signature AV modules providing best of breed protection.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

The management console still requires some development. Managing endpoints at scale can be a challenge as some of the endpoints ‘do not check in to the console’ The tokens expiring on the endpoints can be a major issue when trying to support (whitelist/blacklist) on the endpoints)

**Recommendations to others considering Xcitium:**

White list all your custom applications!!!

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting over 20,000 endpoints even when they do not have connectivity to the server / management console. The ability to protect the endpoints using AI / Machine Learning rather than traditional signature based scans is critical as the agent is much lighter weight and can remain effective even when the device is not online or otherwise unable to communicate with the Comodo service.

  ### 5. It is software that protects laptops, desktops or protection to applications.

This endpoint security manager is the automatic application of policies. It includes antivirus and firewall. It prevents malware. It manages both local and remote endpoints. This provides effective, efficient and easier security management. It becomes important in today's threat landscape. It meets all security standards. This security manager typically consists of centrally located security software.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

To install this security manager, we have to free a lot of space. We need lots of time and effort to get to up and running. We will have to modify it for efficient working. Its installation requires more attention as it stops it causes problems for other software. It is not able to catch everything. This is of big size application as compared to other security applications.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The security endpoint manager protects our wireless devices from malware. It manages all application threats. Full memory requires for its installation. It is a modified security application.

  ### 6. “Your tool for perfect end point security”

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma J. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

I have been using this platform in my company to deal with endpoints and other malware and viruses that is a huge problem, when you are continuously working over the internet. This platform is so great in not only detecting the threat but also efficient getting rid of it. The platform identification technology is no doubt very great as we have not face real virus issues in a very long time

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

I love this platform, but it consumes so much of the device space in installation. The configuration and use sometimes present great difficulty if not familiarized properly. The larger files slow the loading time duration. Step by step complicated procedure is there for installation.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It manages the server centrally with work stations, and other gadgets like laptop and notebooks. Its security system makes it possible with assurance that every endpoint is secured and protected with different protection protocols like antivirus, URL Itering, HIP’s etc. System requirement is minimal to allow severs and non-dedicated PC'S for installation.

  ### 7. Prevent and detects endpoints with focus.

I have been using Comodo Endpoint Security software for my system and find it effective against the detection and prevention of viruses and other malwares that may possess a threat to my device. The Comodo firewall is highly configurable in filtering out the packets and constantly defends from the internet threats.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

It takes a lot of space on the system hard drive to download and install the platform and it takes a huge amount of time for loading. Other than that, the installation procedure is quite complicated and requires many steps to complete.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great platform that centrally manages my server, laptop, notebook etc without the hassle of configuring it on each device. The 7layer security protocol does its job in detection. Consist of a powerful system management capability it saves a lot of time.

**Reviewed by:** Herry K. | Senior Software Engineering , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

Comodo Endpoint Security Manager is so good at detecting endpoints like IoA and IoC in my network and works very efficiently in giving appropriate actions for getting rid of them. One great feature that I absolutely love is its ability to monitor the device in real time for potential threats. I also find it working great in managing assets.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

I would really appreciate if you could do something about the connection between the server and agent,

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the great advantages of Comodo Endpoint Security Manager is that it gives the user to choose the tools according to their requirements and pay for only those tools rather for the whole package. It manages and secures my device with efficiency. It has significantly reduced my IT investments.

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

Comodo Endpoint Security Manager was very easy to install .it proved to be a great console for IT administrators. It consumed very little space and didn't interfere with the performance of the stations. The product also provided us with the anti-theft system which was very comforting.

The update procedure was a bit uneasy and some of the newer versions didn't work with the remote management server.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodolfo Z. | Especialista em TI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

The product really shines with its relatively easy to use interface. It's easy to set up, use and manage. Comodo endpoint really makes it easy for the user to work by showing the available resources and their tools in a very clear way.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

Installation requires some attention and care to ensure that it completes correctly and does not need to be redone later. This may have been caused by previous AV issues, but the truth is that we had some issues during the initial setup.

**Recommendations to others considering Xcitium:**

Comodo Endpoint is a great customer security product that can no longer have knowledge of security systems, its extremely intuitive interface is responsible for it.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the Comodo Endpoint throughout our company. This allows us to have an overall view of all computers in the organization and allows us to apply rules from a centralized point. The interface is well organized and clearly presents all the features we need.

  ### 12. Manage Your Endpoints From Anywhere the Easy Way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony W. | Owner/Consultant-Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

This is a great security management software tool that once you get the hang of things will protect your company by using Whitelisting instead of Blacklisting. Another great feature and one that was essential for us was that they also allow files that are digitally signed. Either that or better resources or tutorials to teach you how to how to do this better.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

There is a lot of time and effort needed upfront to get to up and running. This isn't an out of the box solution - you will needed to modify it to fit your needs, and when something there doesn't work, make another modification - and maybe another one or two after that until you get it working how you want it to work. into some things as it may block

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great, secure anti-virus which is centrally managed.

**Reviewed by:** Lauren V. | Analista de infraestrutura de TI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

Comodo offers a number of good and interesting points. One that caught my attention was its anti-theft system, which allows you to track the computer wherever it is, although it has not been necessary to use it, it is comforting to know that the product also offers this type of protection.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

I believe it would be interesting if Comodo Endpoint was able to deploy new versions to the client automatically instead of having to configure it manually, currently it does not do that, I believe it is a point that if improved would help save time.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comodo has elevated security in our company to another level, it helps protect the computers and servers of our company. Its ability to centrally manage all platforms allows us to control which applications and protocols are allowed in our network.

  ### 14. COMODO The protector

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

The best thing that I loved about Comodo is that It has taken security to a whole new level. I have used plenty of security apps but I haven"t felt so secured. Excellent antivirus that guarantees the prevention of malware attacks and the protection of disk encryption and data file. It protects us from dangerous malware.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

The app size is somewhat bigger when compared with other security apps. The loading time is somewhat long.

**Recommendations to others considering Xcitium:**

Excellent antivirus that guarantees the prevention of malware attacks and the protection of disk encryption and data file. It protects us from dangerous malware. It provides or exhibits more than antivirus protection. It has a web control, device control etc. It provides protection in real time. The advantage of this is more than what we have seen. It is a must app for every phone.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main advantage that I felt is protection from dangerous malware. It defends our data from highly malicious threats. It provides or exhibits more than antivirus protection. It has a web control, device control etc. It provides protection in real time.

  ### 15. Comodo endpoint protection features, performance and usability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Xcitium?**

It provides a 7 layered security suite that helps to protect from malware and other threats. Comodo endpoint protections allows the user to protect their valuable pieces of information from vulnerabilities like virus attack. This is the most attractive part of comodo endpoint protection. As the name indicates it keeps the endpoint safe. That means when a system connects to the internet the Comodo endpoint protection act as an intermediary between the system and the external connection. This is the most catching and attractive portion of comodo endpoint protection.

**What do you dislike about Xcitium?**

The annoying part of comodo endpoint protection is that it asks for updates like any other protection software. That means the virus database must be updated to catch new vulnerabilities. The whole system scanning time is also large to some extent. If we turn on full system auto scan it takes more time and makes the system functionalities slower.

**Recommendations to others considering Xcitium:**

There are various endpoint protections available like symantic endpoint protection. Still the first thing to understand how it suitable for you or your organization.

**What problems is Xcitium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most attractive benefits of comodo endpoint protection are that it helps to keeps the information secure. This is most important in such area that considered the information are very confidential.

Like any product it won't catch everything, lacks ransomware protection and additional endpoint rules which should be an addition in the future.
