xampp takes a number of technologies that are most often used together in online development and combines it all into one package. It saves installation time but more so, makes configuration and use so much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think there's a chance to do a bit better with the configuration dashboard. While most developers are well suited to the settings in these technologies, it would really simplify things to have it be able to be set up with a 'wizard' type of installation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked that this software is free, open-source (means a community is there to help you out if you are stuck somewhere) web-server solution.
