The best thing about this service it that it can be dockerized which increase its portability and scalabilty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like cost , because developers can easily build apis of their own. But we have multiple services here so it can not be that bad. Its a trade off i guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate the API subscription management feature, which allows for the organized presentation of APIs on the developer portal. It offers robust control over how third parties can consume APIs in a highly adaptable and dynamic manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I'm not inclined to say that this aspect of the WSO2 API Manager is dispensable. Each feature has its own utility in various scenarios. However, I do suggest integrating the analytics component within the API manager itself, rather than maintaining a separate ELK stack. Configuring ELK independently can be quite time-consuming. Complexity with simple needs, for organizations with simple API needs, the comprehensive feature set of WSO2 API Manager might be overkill, leading to unnecessary complexity and overhead. While WSO2 offers a SaaS version of API Manager, its availability on major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is limited compared to some competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have tried many API Management solutions as (MuleSoft, Apigee, and SoftwareAg) WSO2 was the best among them, as it is characterized by a clear and large documentation, as well as the people you will find when inquiring on StackOverflow Collection. As it is the only open-source API Management, one of its advantages is that even if the functionality is not implemented and released, it allows you to develop it and use it by implementing new interfaces. Until now WSO2 APIM doesn't support RAML specification. Artificial Intelligence capabilities implemented until now, need to be more improved. The documentation needs to be implemented with real samples. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Separate publisher, devportal, admin and carbon portal. Easy to create API and deploy as well as manage life cycle and other security protocols. Competitors don't have a better UI structure and the support and customization are not available as in WSO2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For changing the log patterns there should be the option at the portal only instead of changing the log4j properties. More scenarios or samples can be added in the tutorial with complex transformations and SOAP API explanation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I recently had the pleasure of using WSO2 API Manager (WSO2 APIM), and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The platform offers a robust and comprehensive solution for managing APIs, making the entire process seamless and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface of WSO2 APIM could be more streamlined and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WSO2 API Manager comes with a wide range of features which helps in API creation, its publishing and documentation at the same time. It provides the developer a platform where they can perform and suggest changes in API. The platform is completely customizable where we can perform and use the tool with our own customization over it. And the best part is it can handle a large number of API processing simultaneously. The deployment process is very hectic, especially for those who are completely new to this tool. It takes time and effort to get started with the tool and start working on it. For support, we need to rely on its community, but the community is very active and provides assistance within hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
