This allows content to be put together far faster than traditionally. Furthermore, it's more user friendly of an experience than we see with generic AI tools today on the market. **What do you dislike about WRITER?** The sales rep was pretty rude during the procurement process. Despite this, I was able to get approval to use the tool and my first few months of usage have been delightful. **What problems is WRITER solving and how is that benefiting you?** With limited bandwidth and budget, we were looking for a more efficient way to produce content other than using generic options available such as ChatGPT. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about WRITER?** The comprehensive style guide builder is by far my favorite feature. As an agency copywriter, part of my responsibility is ensuring all content we produce for our own website and for our clients is consistent. That means I have to be able to catch off-brand phrases and words quickly. The terms feature is great for that. Also, the built-in inclusive language detector is great. The fact that it works right in the Google workspace is huge for me and my agency since that's our platform of choice. The summary tools have also come in quite handy. My agency has a lot of client meetings and team brainstorming sessions, and being able to summarize those meetings is a real time-saver. The proprietary LLM for Writer was a great selling point. I really appreciate that it did not use copyrighted material in its dataset. There's an ethical, humanistic value to that. Lastly, the AI chatbot feature is about on par with that of larger platforms and is helpful for devising subject lines, headings, outlines, doing research, etc. **What do you dislike about WRITER?** It would be the ultimate marketing agency copywriter tool if it allowed me to create different style guides for our different clients. Switching between different voices can be a challenge, and being able to select different style guides would accelerate my work. The limits on some of the features seem a little spartan. Especially the summary features. More templates would be very valuable, too. Jasper AI, for example, has templates for just about every possible copywriting deliverable, from ads and social media posts to emails with different conversion structures. The jump in price from Team to Enterprise is quite large, especially if the style guide is the primary tool I'd like more people in my organization to have. **What problems is WRITER solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving the problem of extensive time proofing my organization's content and ensuring it's on brand. ### 5. From helping with blog construction to recapping videos and webinars. This is a huge timesaver from how things were done previously. Being able to upload a URL or video link for transcripts and recaps is a big deal. **What do you dislike about WRITER?** There can be a bit of a learning curve when using different tool/templates. It seems a bit intimidating until you get in and play around. **What problems is WRITER solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's saving time creating outlines, content, and recaps. We use Writer this way frequently, less so in their writing tool. Using their tool would probably be better and faster, but I don't see the value in adding another step to my publishing process. I also need to be able to collaborate with coworkers who don't have Writer. I haven't delved into their cool AI features; but it's a cool idea. **What do you dislike about WRITER?** The ability to use it in Google Docs is in beta, and I hope it's being prioritized because that's where we do a great deal of writing. I don't like that you have to scroll through a page to get Writer to evaluate it, I wish it would just evaluate the whole page (even if it's incremental, do the work before I get to that part of the page). **What problems is WRITER solving and how is that benefiting you?** Writer helps us standardize capitalization and words used to describe our product and its features. It's very helpful in standardizing language across our Help Center. Consistency is important, and Writer helps us be consistent easily. The rules feature is great and we have many. I like the simple command buttons to quickly generate options. The terms and snippets management can be confusing with the "tray" overlapping the right side of the screen. The idea of the terms and snippets is nice – especially for folks working within a brand and style – but it's not much more than a fancy spellcheck. The readability and grammar check function has helped even my most stream-of-consciousness writing go from convoluted to clear. **What do you dislike about WRITER?** I will admit, the user experience was not super easy to navigate at first. While I felt as though the beginning step-by-step tutorial did a good job of setting you up with the basics, I still found myself having to flounder about to explore more of Writer's functions. I also like that you can have recordings and pdfs summarized, which is new. **What do you dislike about WRITER?** It can be a bit buggy and I often find myself having to restart the platform to make new requests within the same template. Also while the output is pretty good, it's not great. I work by myself, so many times I wish I had a human to ask if there are different ways to say something. I love algie it saves everything. It's very searchable. I can be pretty messy, and I am still not sure how I'm ultimately going to set up writer to use. It's really useful for writing up blogs - even more technical ones - and I especially like the ability to generate recaps from webinars and podcasts.
