# Which engineering document management platforms integrate with CATIA, SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER so design files stay linked to their documentation without manual synchronization?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hoping to get a read from the people who review and research multi-CAD environments here.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I'm looking for engineering document management platforms that integrate with CATIA, SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER so design files stay linked to their documentation without manual synchronization. I started with the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/engineering-document-management"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/engineering-document-management">engineering document management</a> category and here’s what I found:</p><ul>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/teamcenter/reviews"><strong>Siemens Teamcenter</strong></a>: the most complete answer I came across. It manages NX, CATIA, SolidWorks and Creo (the successor to Pro/ENGINEER) in one data environment, and revisions and change impact can be handled from inside the CAD tool. </li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/aras-innovator/reviews"><strong>Aras Innovator</strong></a>: connectors exist for the major mechanical CAD systems, with bi-directional property mapping so metadata stays aligned. </li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/synergis-adept/reviews"><strong>Synergis Adept</strong></a>: strong inside SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD and Inventor. It can also open Creo and CATIA files, but its deeper two-way connections focus on Autodesk tools. This makes it a stronger fit for Autodesk-based teams than it may be for those that rely heavily on CATIA.</li>

&lt;p&gt;From G2 reviews, Teamcenter is the only one reviewers consistently describe as keeping files and documentation genuinely linked across all three CAD systems under real revision traffic. The others work on setup but require manual reconciliation as assembly complexity and change volume grow. PTC Windchill is the name missing from this list that reviewers in multi-CAD environments raise most often as the direct alternative, particularly for teams where Creo is primary, and CATIA integration needs to hold up under production load.&lt;/p&gt;
