I've been using Write since its initial launch about 3-4 years ago. The app was fee then, BTW :)
So, what you get is a very decent, stylish and functional writing apps for most of your technical or creative writing. It features a number of useful functionality such as the markup support, cloud save, various styling options and a distraction-free mode. Since the addition of the cloud sync it has become my default writing application. Plus it's cross-platform so I can get the same experience on my work PC running Ubuntu and my personal Windows laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Write! has become pretty pricey over time. While it's OK to pay $25/year on a Mac, the practice is quite unusual on the other OSes. Is Write! that good? Hard to tell. I simply grew attached to it over time. For others the price may be too steep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
