"Practical and Real-World Technical Assessment Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

The user interface is straightforward and well designed, and it’s obvious the team put real thought into making the product easy to use. I just wish the experience beyond the surface level matched that strong first impression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

Sometimes the platform feels a bit too strict with time tracking and monitoring. Also, a few assessments/interview steps can be lengthy, which makes the hiring process feel slower than expected. Better communication on application status would improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Woven’s Self-Guided Assessment Makes Problem-Solving and Communication Shine"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

What stood out about Woven was first the Self guide before attempting the real assessment and it was not as stressful as it may be. I like that I could document the problem and my thought and not just one blanket approach. Even when my answers were not complete accurate.

Another upside was the focus on clear communication when troubleshooting or explaining the root cause analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I still think it’s a better reflection of real work, but it also requires more effort, more structure, and a greater comfort with ambiguity than traditional interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Thoughtful Engineering Culture Solving Meaningful Mobility and Safety Challenges"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

I like Woven has a thoughtful engineering culture with a clear mission and real, meaningful problems to solve.

The cross-functional collaboration and trong technical discipline make it easy to build reliable, scalable systems.

You get balance of innovation and structure, plus the chance to work on impactful, large-scale mobility and safety challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

Sometimes the organization can feel a bit complex, and navigating cross-team processes can slow things down.

The decision-making structure can be a little layered, so getting alignment across teams isnot always fast.

Because the problems are large and interdisciplinary, it can take extra effort to coordinate and keep momentum across different groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use All-in-One Platform with Smooth, Helpful Feedback"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

The platform was easy to use, I had everything in one place, and I didn't feel overly pressured. The prep work allowed me to feel like I understood what I was doing and didn't have to spend so much time looking around. The executions and functionality felt smooth and gave appropriate feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I would like to be able to pop out one or more of the sections into their own window maybe? I tend to write my notes and still have the instructions available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Woven’s Detailed Post-Assessment Feedback Makes Improvement Clear"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

My favorite thing about Woven is the feedback after the assessment, which helps you understand how you actually did and where to improve, which, for the longest time, I have not had, other than the generic pass or fail that other providers give. Getting feedback on performance personally is as important as the performance itself because it helps to know where you are lacking, if any, to better help understand what needs improvement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

It is not a dislike but more of an improvement/ feature request, thus if candidates be allowed a little more time after the official timer, I think that would be helpful for when time is against you Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finally, a technical assessment that mirrors real work"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

The scenarios feel like real work. You’re debugging an async bug in existing code, integrating with an external API, and building a UI feature that feels like an actual sprint rather than a puzzle competition. It evaluates how you think and communicate, not just whether you’ve memorized algorithms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

The in-browser IDE can feel limiting: there are no extensions and none of the IntelliSense I’m used to. A more capable coding environment would make the overall experience smoother and easier to work in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-World Technical Tests That Feel Like the Job"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

The technical test format I’ve received from Woven focuses on problems that closely resemble what you’d encounter in real-life scenarios. This feels different from the usual automated tests that simply assign generic DSA questions, often with no proper testing environment and very limited time. The scoring and review process is also well structured, and the feedback is detailed and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I expected some kind of screen or camera recording, or at least something that shows I’m actually being monitored. For example, in situations where I’m instructed not to use human assistance, I assumed I’d be penalised if I did. But I’m not sure how they would even know if there’s no camera or screen capture. And if there’s no real way to monitor it, it doesn’t feel fair, because some people could break the rules, struggle less, and not be penalised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-world, job-Relevant Technical Assessment"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

I like the real-world, job-relevant assessment format. It allowed me to showcase practical problem-solving skills rather than just answering theoretical questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

The limited and restricted development environment made it challenging to fully implement and test solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Very Modern Take on Interviewing"
5/5
What do you like best about Woven?

I have participated in technical interviews with companies that primarily emphasize mathematical problem-solving skills and familiarity with algorithms. As a senior software engineer, I frequently need to revisit topics I haven't used since college, even when applying for experienced roles. I believe that focusing on "Work Simulations" is a much better approach, as it demonstrates that I am truly capable of performing the tasks required in the job description, rather than just being theoretically qualified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I understand that the challenge time constraints level the playing field, but I wish I was able to read through the question prompt before the timer starts. Often it took me 5-10 minutes to fully read and understand the prompt, but the challenge would only give me 20-30 minutes to complete it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
