We were using the service for a Data Analytics portal that embedded the important reports and charts (data) that needs to be share between multiple stakeholders, clients.
we needed a fast, efficient hosting service provider with reliant computing power as our data (charts) will be updated frequently, and the wordpress is easy to manage and faster to configure with reliable google cloud computation power.

**Reviewed by:** Bishnu M. | Senior Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2023

**What do you like best about WordPress on Google Cloud?**

If you are having blog/ website which is having huge potential to grow, you need a hosting service like GCP which can easily scale as demand grows. The ability to scale infrastructure easily and quickly just in few clicks or using auto scaling is the best ability when WordPress is used with Google Cloud. The website can be deployed to various regions based on target audience to provide regional flavor, to improve responsiveness or to handle failover. Also, Google provides $300 balance to get started with it’s free trail, which should be good to run a WordPress blog for about a year before paying anything out of the pocket.

**What do you dislike about WordPress on Google Cloud?**

WordPress on Cloud could be little overwhelming for non-technical people with limited knowledge on cloud services as this will involve configuring, monitoring and maintaining the cloud infrastructure services as per need.

**What problems is WordPress on Google Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WordPress is a popular opensource blogging service which is highly customizable. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a cloud service provider also market leader and known for their speed, performance and worldwide infrastructure. WordPress on GCP therefore, is a most powerful combination for blogs and websites. It provides higher flexibility on building web application/ blog and deploying it to a highly reliable, scalable and available platform to provide excellent performance. I hosted one of my WordPress blog in GCP and helped few friends to set up WordPress on GCP.
