"Relatively easy, Reliable No-Code Site with Helpful Happiness Engineers"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

My site is a portal to my research and scheduling of inteviews for participants in my research (typically higher education executives). The pre-designed templates are useful and easy to adapt. I don’t write code, and I don’t plan to anytime soon. The Happiness Engineers have been consistently helpful, especially when I get confused (since I don’t code). My integrations are limited (Easy Appointments), and we had to test several to select EA because it does what we need and does it well. Plan to test integrations before committing. Pricing is fair (but I wish it were clearer and that my domain cost less to host). I'd have 2 or more additional sites if WP bundled 1-3 sites. My site has been reliably online without incident. It isn't a high-volume site, but I am very glad I don't have to worry about it. I haven't engaged any AI/"Intelligence" features, so I can't speak to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

While I don't code, the language and conventions are confusing. The competing editions of the site editor have been unnecessary. If you need to update software, do it, then provide online tools to help users navigate the change. Lots of wheel-spinning (time I don't have), trying to decode WP jargon. "Simple and Reliable Website Builder"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

What I like most about WordPress is how easy it is to set up and manage a website without technical skills. It’s simple, reliable, and lets you focus on content instead of backend work. It is easy on wordpress to make a website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

One thing I don’t like about WordPress is that it can feel feel lagy while using the heavy plugins and also it lags in elementor plugin while making the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly but Pricey with Plugin Conflicts"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I really like that WordPress.com is very easy to use, which is great for blogging and setting up single-page websites or even ecommerce sites. It's fast to create or develop a website, and a lot of things are manageable from the servers. Plus, you don't need to worry about spending a lot of time creating content. The platform's performance is reliable, and it's convenient to use multiple tools and buttons, making the whole process easy and manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

Sometimes there are a lot of plugins which are pro features, and it takes a lot of money. Sometimes the price becomes very high, and it sometimes creates conflicts between the plugins. It's difficult to update because a lot of things got changed after the update. Sometimes the upgrade is locked like the versions and the plugins. I don't like these conflicts, and we need to improve them and the page loading times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WordPress is a website developing tool with different designs and plugins"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I have been using WordPress from last five years and it has been one of the oldest and most versatile website building platform for us. It is mostly free of cost and the range of designing elements that wordpress provides for websites is ultimate. We get almost each and every kind of designs and plugins which makes our website more attractive and useful for our audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

I have been old user of wordpress and there are two major con of this platform. Whenever I want to add a new feature to our website it asks to install a new plugin and some of the plugins are two costly on the other hand websites developed through wordpress need a lot of updates quite frequently and after every update there is certain unwanted change that happened to the website's apperence. "Wordpress Makes Blogging Easy with a Reliable Free Plan"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

Wordpress allows me to compile photos and blog posts from over the years. The UI is extremely easy with drag + drop modules. The free plan has never let me down and I will continue using this product for years to come. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

I feel the pricing is a bit steep especially the higher level business plans. I also feel that it is difficult to advertise my site given I only use the free plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Efficient for Website Management"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I think WordPress.com is really easy to use. Once you get into it, it's great and seems quite intuitive. It's obviously quite the industry leader, which I suppose makes it easy to Google things and figure stuff out. It just feels straightforward and follows how my brain works. I like that I've built a whole new website, allowing me to quickly knock out loads more pages once I've set up one page as a template. I can also make pages different if I want, which gives me variety. I really like the neat and nice media bank for storing content, so I know where I'm keeping everything in the back end. The template I use looks really crisp and clean, which I like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

I have to go to our technical team to tweak things that aren't working for me very well, and that makes it look a little bit more complicated. Sometimes, I'm not sure if the title 'adaptations' almost feel a bit weird. Some of those backend names are a bit strange. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying Website Management with WordPress.com"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I appreciate WordPress.com for how easy and flexible it is to use. It makes building and managing a website feel straightforward, even if you don’t have much technical knowledge. I also like the wide selection of themes and plugins, since it lets me customize my site to match my preferences and needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

One limitation I’ve noticed with WordPress.com is that some of the more advanced customization options are locked behind higher-tier plans. It’s a really good fit for beginners and for getting a site up and running quickly, but if you have more advanced website needs, it can start to feel a bit restrictive and limiting over time. "Versatile Website Building Platform"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

I really like that WordPress.com provides a wide range of themes, which help me design beautiful websites for my clients. The availability of plenty of plugins lets me extend the functionality of a website with a simple click. I also appreciate that I can use free themes to build MVPs, which helps me present a first idea without any cost to my business. Once my client approves, I can invest a little money, as the premium options are affordable, to create a beautiful website. This is something I really like about WordPress.com. Plus, setting up WordPress is extremely easy, just a few clicks to connect with the server and hosting provider, and it's very smooth to start working on the design and content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

Well, WordPress.com could improve on security because when you use many plugins, especially those developed from different vendors outside the WordPress.com ecosystem, you tend to have some security problems sometimes that can take your website down. I'd love to see a better and improved security aspect to WordPress.com. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WordPress Makes Website Updates Easy and User-Friendly"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

WordPress is an easy interface for website development that allows us to easily edit and add new pages. While we did not set up the original website (we had a company do it) we find it very user friendly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

There are a lot of plugins necessary to get everything you want out of the website. It takes a lot of trial and error to figure out exactly what you want Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform with Powerful Features and Seamless Scalability"
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

This platform stands out for its combination of user-friendliness and powerful features. It allows for straightforward content creation through the block editor, while also providing extensive customization options with themes and plugins. The built-in hosting and security features add convenience, and its strong SEO capabilities help boost visibility. Additionally, it is highly scalable, making it suitable for anything from a basic blog to a complex website, all backed by a large and active community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Common complaints about WordPress.com usually focus on the restrictions faced by free or basic users, such as mandatory ads and limited functionality. For those using self-hosted WordPress.org, managing plugins and themes can be complicated. Users also report performance problems, like slow loading times due to excessive bloat, and security risks that often stem from third-party add-ons.
