My favorite takeoff program by far **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Anthony W. | Estimator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021 **What do you like best about WinEx Master?** Scales even poorly plotted plans easily, including dual scale plan pages. Takeoffs can be exported in many ways. It has custom routines for several things that you would usually have to use a workaround to accomplish. **What do you dislike about WinEx Master?** License management is done through a dongle. If the dongle is lost or stolen, it can be expensive to replace. While it's not the end of the world, it is just one more thing to have to keep track of. It is pretty annoying if you leave it at the office and need to work at home. **Recommendations to others considering WinEx Master:** Don't be afraid to call customer service. They are local and fantastic. Any bugs I have found were addressed by customer support very quickly, and they seemed to maintain their product actively. **What problems is WinEx Master solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is so much faster than doing takeoffs by hand it's unbelievable. It is possible to do many large takeoffs in a single day instead of spending a week on one like the old days. ### 2. Which end results in making the software less likly to be used on the less upgraded compputers. ### 3.
