I seriously considered and gave thought to more things that I like about WileyPlus, but I honestly couldn't say there was anything else good worth noting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- I'm going to start with the intro video. It says "24-hour live support". Not true. I tried to contact them and you have to first fill out a questionnaire (which is reasonable) but instead of directing you to a live chat/call, it shows a screen that says something along the lines of "we will look into this problem".

- The slide shows that they provide for you about the lesson barely help with the graded problems/test. Sometimes you can see what you did wrong, sometimes you can't. During one of my lessons, there was a decent amount of information that was left out, which made me struggle with the multi-step accounting dropdowns.

- Another thing is they make you do an insane amount of work on ONE question, rather than spacing them into different questions. The questions take a long time, and instead of giving you a variety of questions, WileyPlus repeatedly asks you the same type of questions (ex. how to fill out a balance sheet, income statement, etc). This often occurs on the tests, elongating the time you spend taking it. Another thing about the tests is it's only about 25% of the material you covered in a chapter and it happens to be the hardest 25%.

- Also, when filling out the balance sheet, income statement, and retained earnings, for example, you have to do simple math. The hardest the math gets is 1000 + or - 1000. It would save a lot of time if WileyPlus did the simple math for you, as actual accountants have programs that do the math for them.

- One other thing I'd like to add is they overcomplicate what you are learning. Instead of teaching the correct, direct way, they take turns and spin easily-explainable terms/topics into something more complicated and confusing than it has to be.

- My peers who use WileyPlus (including myself) are constantly doing work and not understanding the topics. A studious person like myself and some of my peers go back and rewatch the slide presentations and example problems provided by WileyPlus, continuing to not understand most of the topic. I've even turned to a tutor (who is an accountant) who has helped a great deal and explains things in a more direct, easy-to-understand way.

I hope whoever is reading this takes serious consideration in using WileyPlus. I'm not saying this program has to be perfect and understand fully that programs such as these cannot be perfect, but WileyPlus has to make extraordinary changes into making itself halfway decent. There is a bunch of little things that I will not get into because I don't want to nit-pick, but if you are a professor/teacher, it will not only save your students time, effort and a ton of stress, but they will not fully learn Accounting if you use WileyPlus. I like Wiley because I get an Account Manager, Customer Support Specialist, and a whole lot of other professional staff that partner with me to ensure we are meeting the needs of my students. I have a large class, 1,700+ students a semester, so sometimes I run into some unique situations or issues. Wiley has my back and gets me to support ASAP to address the situation and to mitigate the issue. I feel like with any provider there are going to be bumps in the road but with Wiley, they make it as smooth as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WileyPlus is great for teaching asynchronous courses as well as synchronous courses. Last year, I taught two different sessions of an Accounting Course. One was asychronous and one was synchronous. The nice thing is you can build modules and set hyperlinks for the students to specific sections of the text. WileyPlus also provides a ton of assignments, question banks, and practice problems. The only thing that I did not like was some of the Excel assignment problems were very rigid. I had several students complain that the formulas they entered into the spreadsheet should have been marked correct, but due to a very slight formula difference, they were incorrect. I also had several students have problems when uploading spreadsheet assignments to WileyPlus. They would get notifications that their assignments had been flagged for cheating. As you probably can relate to, I am struggling with students to read the chapters. WileyPlus has helped me a lot in getting closer to my goal of getting students to read the assigned chapters by making WileyPlus’ adaptive practices as part of the grade. The adaptive practices Wiley developed are unique and set themselves apart from other publishers. If students try to attempt to complete the questions found in adaptive practices without reading the corresponding chapters, they will have a hard time receiving the full credit. A student who is well prepared when starting the adaptive practices, will be able to identify the concepts they are still struggling with and which concepts they have mastered. In contrast, a student who is struggling with a particular concept, may be prompted to review and answer questions related to earlier concepts relevant to the current concepts. For example, a student struggling with the physiological changes related to stress, may be prompted to review concepts first introduced in the biology chapter to ensure that they have mastered the concept. This approach set WileyPlus apart from any other publishers.Wiley is family-owned company and these family values show at all levels. Once I adopted the title, I was assigned a costumer success manager as well as a digital learning executive. Both are an integral part and ensure that the switch is an easy and pleasant experience. I have seen students’ performance increase since requiring the adaptive practices. I just finished my first 8-week section and was pleasantly surprised when I am assigning final grades. When I am in WileyPLUS and I want to go back to a previous page by clicking on the "go back" arrow on the top of the screen WileyPLUS takes me out of its system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform to give homework to students is user friendly and easy to schedule, works with database to find assignments. I like availability of user help and representatives to help set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform looks a lot like canvas and there are two due dates for assignments which can be confusing. Often, repetitive processes to set up due dates and criteria for assignments, should be easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The resources that WileyPlus provides to teachers and professors go above and beyond all other publishers. Wiley keeps in contact not only with the administrators of accounts but connects with the teachers and professors who are using their materials. The amount of professional development opportunities, learning strategies, and other webinars make using Wiley titles and platforms easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are no real downsides to the Wiley programs and platforms. They are easy to adopt and customers are provided with product specialists to adopt the program and set up their courses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The application within Wiley Plus allow students opportunities to track personal routines and design changes to lifestyle habits for better health and well being. Learning is meaningful in that it is personalized and unique to the individual by applying course content to personal habits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's saving me a lot of time since I don't have to grade homework any more. The power points provided in the instructor resources as well as the test bank are helpful.

I love that WileyPlus integrates with Blackboard. I also love that the customer support is amazing for instructors and students alike. I like all the course resources that are available for instructors and students. It is very user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm not sure there is anything I dislike about the product I use at WileyPlus. The textbook is fantastic, the Blackboard integration works well, and I can create my own assignments or use theirs. It's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
