When we first used Webroot we ran into VPNs that required AV software to be installed but did not recognize Webroot as AV software. That's rare nowadays but still happens occasionally. One great benefit is that we can simply find some free AV software that the VPN recognizes and install it alongside Webroot because Webroot is capable of running alongside another AV solution without issues.
