The UI is very straightforward to navigate. Ever since I first installed it on all of my terminals, I haven't had to touch a thing so I appreciate how low maintenance it is. **What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?** The biggest downside I have found is with any computers still running HDDs. Those terminals run very slow when webroot is scanning. The admin dashboard allows you to set 2FA using Google Authenticator which is much easier than the password character method. The endpoint installation process is simple, allowing me to deploy it rapidly to multiple machines, and the client is small, allowing me to conserve resources on aging workstations. It's also not easily tinkered with by end-users unless you specifically enable the unmanaged policy which is not a default. I've only had one false positive which was dealt with easily enough, so overall it's been a good experience. **What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?** Personally I don't like not being able to remove endpoints from my dashboard, such as when I decommission a machine and remove it from my network. The endpoint console lets you "deactivate" the machine and puts it into a deactivated security group, but I don't like seeing all those machines still show in my account. Also, if/when you need to remove it from an endpoint, the process can be tempermental, requiring the use of PowerShell scripts or other advanced methods. **What problems is Webroot Business Endpoint Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** It pretty much allows me to install and leave it alone. I check my admin dashboard periodically but I haven't needed to take direct action on an endpoint more than once or twice. ### 13. I haven't had too many outbreaks so I am not sure exactly how the software is working, but no news is good news from antivirus. I am more than pleased to say we have seen ZERO security issues. Webroot's business pricing model is wonderful. (Our top commercial security expert helped us put webroot through a test, against what AFAIK is the most costly, fancy, business protection. Even though webroot doesn't come with a separate network appliance for sandbox-testing of malware... it came out looking like roses even against that competition, costing over 1000x more.) **What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?** The admin side could use a lot of help: * We depend -- radically -- on the original console GUI. The new console is close to useless, due to so many missing major features. Fortunately, not hard to access the old UI. * We have many admins. Sure would help to have basic reports on things like last-admin-login ;) * (I don't blame Webroot for this) It is still way too painful to address hassles of install/uninstall on MacOS. And: be prepared for your Mac endpoints to require some security cleanup. MacOs users are MORE likely to succumb to social phishing attacks, because they tend to assume their computers are invincible. Our basic use case is serving (nonprofit) workers around the world, who mostly have no clue about endpoint protection, and have little or no infrastructure or (often) local tech help...their own tech people often are 'whelmed. Our expert team of volunteers takes care of the tech stuff...and the end users can just do their jobs. Webroot is the best we've ever seen at solving that need. This is true even when the users live in the developing world, and have no understanding of safe online practices... so they try to download dangerous software, or inadvertently break good security practices in other ways. You can easily create profiles and assign them to users and/or groups. **What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?** The problem has been that over the last 2 years webroot has failed to catch the most problematic virus across our organization. Systems that are flagged with a virus with Bitdefender show up as clean under Webroot. We are starting to change to a different AV solution. **What problems is Webroot Business Endpoint Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** The first problem we were able to solve was the ability to manage all endpoints from one interface. The second was pushing out the application through a GPO.
