In this way I am able to capture deeper understanding without having to reveal the source. BONUS: most private message conversations end with someone popping their head in my office to say, "Hey, that was me - can we just talk about this in person?" We work in a self-managed team environment, so questions that reference a "boss" or "manager" aren't applicable to us, so we can't use those questions.
