WayCivil Reviews & Product Details

WayCivil is an AI-powered platform built to automate quality control (QC) for civil engineering plan sets. In today’s engineering workflows, reviewing plans is one of the most time-consuming and repetitive tasks. Engineers often spend hours manually checking for inconsistencies across sheets, missing labels, incorrect references, or drafting errors. These issues, while simple, can lead to costly delays, RFIs, and change orders if not caught early. WayCivil acts as an intelligent “second set of eyes” for engineers. It automatically reviews plan sets—primarily in PDF format—and detects common production errors in seconds. This includes cross-sheet inconsistencies (such as mismatched labels between plan, profile, and sections), missing or incorrect annotations, overlapping text, and deviations from established standards. The platform is designed not to replace engineers, but to enhance their workflow. By handling repetitive and mechanical checks, WayCivil allows engineers to focus on higher-value tasks such as design decisions, problem-solving, and coordination. The goal is simple: reduce review time, improve accuracy, and increase overall project quality. WayCivil is especially valuable during key project milestones (30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC submittals), where fast and reliable QC can significantly impact timelines. It can also be tailored to specific company standards, enabling teams to maintain consistency across all their projects. The platform operates as a cloud-based web application, making it accessible from anywhere without requiring specialized software. It integrates seamlessly into existing workflows by working directly with plan files, without the need for CAD licenses. WayCivil offers flexible plans to support different team sizes and needs. The Pro plan is designed for individual users or small teams with limited monthly reviews, while the Enterprise plan provides unlimited users, unlimited reviews, and customized QC models trained on company-specific standards. Ultimately, WayCivil helps engineering teams move faster, reduce costly errors, and deliver higher-quality plans.
