The initial training that I received was excellent as has been the support. As someone who has never used an inventory software before I was able to learn it very quickly and provide accurate results. **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** As with any software there are some aspects of the app that seems clunky or a bit counterintuitive. In reality, this comes down to making sure you do the first thing first and the second thing second, but I sometimes have to go back to do a step that I forgot, thinking, "I wish I could save where I am and go back to a previous step." **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** I work in a non-profit warehouse where we keep track of several hundred SKUs that are items that we deploy in a disaster situation. I went from tracking this with a spreadsheet to using InventoryCloud and the difference is immeasurable. We got this system fully implemented nine days before Hurricane Helene hit and were able to track our resources accurately and in real time. That was amazing. I just need their technical support to correct the problem because when we initially started using the software we did not have this problem. I knew exactly what it was going to cost and what it was going to be able to do. And what I like best, is that I've had no surprises in either of those areas. **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** I don't have any dislikes, because all my expectations and promises have been met. **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can maintain accurate stock counts, reduce errors, and avoid time consuming manual entry of items. The software allows me to perform inventory receiving. I do Real-time inventory reports to compile and analyze essential data, like transactions by site or warehouse, itemized inventory levels by SKU, or individual customer purchase order history. I get automatic low stock level notifications; so now I don't have to worry about losing out on another sale due to stockouts. Best of all, I can set automatic re-order points down to each bin location and preferred vendors for each inventoried item. ### 21. It looks like a great system until you try to use it. **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** I would not suggest using this company's services. -The software was not what was advertised to us. In fact, sometimes they would change some things that were working fine. Then when the patch caused issues and we inquired about it, we were told that 'this is how the software was intended to function'. -I think I submitted in the vicinity of 10 support tickets for software issues within the first 2-3 weeks of having access. (No, they were not due to user error. before submitting any tickets I would thoroughly investigate every issue myself using any resources available.) -When we decided to cancel the account altogether, I put in a ticket and have been both emailing and calling different members of the company for the past 6+ months. Each time being assured that someone would reach out to me. To my expectation, they still have not. -I still receive automated emails telling me that subscription payments are due on X date. The menus are very easy to view and use and the administration is super easy to manage. **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** The only area where I feel the software comes up a little short is being able to customize the built-in forms and reports on your own. You cannot edit the forms and reports that are generated by the software. These forms are created by crystal reports and if you want them customized (i.e. having a company logo or changing the order of fields or labels of fields and boxes on your purchase order printouts), you have to pay WASP or a WASP Reseller to customize the report for you and then provide you with the new form report file to install on all of your workstations that use the software. **Recommendations to others considering Wasp Inventory:** If you need a quick solution to setup and manage your purchasing, inventory and barcoding needs, this is a super affordable package that can you get you up and running in a day or 2 without a steep learning curve! Setup is easy and quick. I do recommend having a centralized server to load the database on. Install on the server first and select the option to install the database. Then, on all workstations, don't select the database install option during installation. All you have to do is put the server name and database name in the fields when prompted during installs on workstations to get it working. **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** We utilize WASP Inventory Control to handle all of our purchasing and Inventory needs. It works very well in most cases but sometimes we have to invent some solutions to do a complicated order with custom parts, design requirements and services. Overall though, it works great for most of our needs. There are quite a lot of features that are helpful if you take the time to learn them and train your staff on their processes. ### 25. It never gave me any issues or problems. **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Business problems that we are solving with Wasp are having good barcodes and not experiencing problems with the barcodes. I’ve realized that it helps to try a new product! ### 27. Easily receive, maintain, and audit inventories of all sizes! **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** While there has been a learning curve with the software, I don't have any complaints. I think this would be faced regardless of the platform. Transiting to a system like this will likely have bumps. **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easily maintain and audit our inventory. I like how dependable everything is. **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** So far I have not encountered any big problems with Wasp barcodes, everything works well. **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wasp creates reliable barcodes and makes inventory a faster process. I’ve realized that inventory doesn’t have to take hours with a good barcode system! ### 29. So a newer version may provide a better interface **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** This has enabled us to track, change and manage our assets across our institution. It has also made our surplus process a little more refined. ### 32. Explains every step that you have to take to create a new barcode. This is the most detailed tutorial like this I have ever seen. **What do you dislike about Wasp Inventory?** This software does not work with Brother printers. Unfortunately, I have only Brother printers so it is totally non-functional. I was told that I could not get a refund because this was a digital download (I was told ahead of time this was the case but I assumed that the software would be functional). I did ask if it would work with standard printers and was told that I did not need to buy a special printer. **What problems is Wasp Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Need to generate UPC barcodes for wine bottles that do not have barcodes provided by the producer. It appears that this software would have worked if it interacted properly with Brother printers ### 33.
