Wasp Inventory works well for our small inventory needs, and I like its simplicity. It helps streamline our inventory process, making stock management and reordering straightforward while allowing teachers to efficiently place orders through an internal website that integrates seamlessly into the system. The order fulfillment feature sends orders directly to the handheld devices, which is very convenient. I also found the initial setup fairly easy, even without extensive IT skills. I would like if we could get more users for the handheld computers without having to pay for the unlimited users. I have students and only 5 users, so everyone shares the same login. Having more users would allow me to assign all of my students a handheld computer with their own username, which would allow for better tracking of who did what and when. It helps us keep track of a large quantity of diverse items across multiple projects. Serial number tracking also makes it easy to follow specific items, and the interface is straightforward to use. Managing licensed users is even easier now, since we can add additional users one at a time instead of having to purchase five add-ons each time we want to expand the use case.

Integrating it utilizing API calls, with platforms such as smartsheets has allowed easy automation processes and expanded use across our teams. The Wasp Support team also was a huge help in overcoming a specific road block we ran into, and helped us solve the last hurdle we had in getting Purchase Orders automated. The only real feature/use case I can think of that I dislike? I wish the report builder was a little more user friendly and easier to manage. Often times, when needing to refine a report or create a custom one, it's challenging and time consuming. I like the ease of use and quick access of Wasp Inventory. It's easy to use and we can access it through the purchased scanners, the internet, and with our analyst's personal devices. I have contacted Wasp Inventory about a problem we are having generating a low inventory count with the Excel tab and it does generate but it does not generate all the data that is needed without having to go different routes to find the details needed to finish the report. I just need their technical support to correct the problem because when we initially started using the software we did not have this problem. I like that Wasp Inventory helps me keep a better physical count of inventory and makes me a little more organized, which is great since we have many customer products in our warehouse. I also really appreciate that it allows me to generate reports and send them to individual customers, showing them their current inventory. The best thing about InventoryCloud is its ease of set-up and use. The initial training that I received was excellent as has been the support. As with any software there are some aspects of the app that seems clunky or a bit counterintuitive. In reality, this comes down to making sure you do the first thing first and the second thing second, but I sometimes have to go back to do a step that I forgot, thinking, "I wish I could save where I am and go back to a previous step." I had been using Wasp Inventory Control for many years when the company decided to switch to Wasp Inventory Cloud. The change over was quick and efficient and I was able to complete all the steps myself even though Wasp offered assistance with the change over.
