With VMware environments (vSphere) the easiest and most comprehensive solution to add networking functions (from L2 up to L7) such as logical switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, and Load Balancing AND Security functions, such as Firewall, ATP, NDR, with zero trust approach. If you want to and a new VLAN, then you need to pass your request through all the 3 teams. With NSX, all of the tasks can be done in a single one platform: end-to-end.
