Vitrac Reviews & Product Details

Vitrac is a visual retail analytics and visitor counting platform that uses AI cameras to track foot traffic, customer demographics, and in-store conversion rates for brick-and-mortar retail locations. Vitrac by TASS Vision is a SaaS-based location intelligence and retail analytics platform designed to measure and analyze physical store traffic. The system utilizes proprietary AI-powered cameras to capture in-store customer behavior, providing retailers with objective data on foot traffic and customer interactions. By integrating with existing POS, ERP, or DMS systems, Vitrac allows retail managers to calculate accurate walk-in-to-purchase conversion rates. The software uses computer vision to automatically exclude store employees and repeat entries from the overall traffic count, ensuring that conversion metrics are based solely on unique visitor data. Core Capabilities include: Visitor Counting & Staff Exclusion: Automated footfall tracking that identifies and filters out store personnel to maintain data accuracy (up to 99% counting accuracy). Demographic Analytics: Estimates the age and gender of visitors to help align physical store traffic with target marketing audiences. Group Recognition: Identifies families or couples shopping together, counting them as a single buying unit for more accurate unique visitor metrics. Storefront Conversion: Analyzes street-level pedestrian traffic outside the store to measure the effectiveness of window displays at drawing visitors inside. Operational Optimization: Tracks peak traffic hours and queue lengths to provide data-driven recommendations for staff scheduling. Anomaly Detection (Vitrac GPT): An AI module that analyzes behavioral data to predict anomalies and provide automated operational insights. Architecture and Security: Vitrac operates on a plug-and-play hardware model. The system processes video data at the edge, encrypting all information before sending it to cloud dashboards. It relies on object recognition rather than personal facial recognition, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards and maintaining customer anonymity.
