"Visualping Makes Website Change Tracking Easy with Clear Visual Difference Reports"
4/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

Visualping is a useful platform when it comes to keeping track of changes across different websites. One thing I particularly appreciate is the ability to monitor specific sections of a webpage instead of receiving notifications about every small change across the entire website.

For research purposes, this is quite helpful because important information is not always published in a separate announcement. Sometimes pricing, product descriptions, availability, or other details are updated directly on existing pages. The automated monitoring helps make these changes easier to identify.

I also like the visual difference reports because they provide a quick comparison between the previous and current versions. The setup process is straightforward, and the notification system makes it convenient to stay updated without constantly checking different websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

One area that could use improvement is the accuracy of notifications on websites that contain frequently changing elements. Some pages have dynamic banners, automatically updated content, or other elements that can generate alerts even when the main information remains unchanged.

I would also like to see more options for organizing monitored pages, especially when working with several different websites for research. Better categorization and notification management would make the experience more convenient. Additionally, the monthly check limits are something users should consider when planning larger monitoring projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for such a detailed review, Elise! It's great to hear Visualping helps you catch pricing and product updates that never get a formal announcement.

A few tips: for dynamic banners and auto-updating content, you can tell the AI what to ignore in the "Alert me when" box, or hide a specific element with the Block action (https://help.visualping.io/en/articles/6308993). For larger projects, the Health page shows your estimated monthly check usage, and you can set less important monitors to check less often or only during certain hours with Advanced Scheduling. Labels and filters on our Business plans also make it easier to keep lots of research pages organized.

If you'd like help setting any of this up, our support team is happy to take a look.

"Effortless Website Change Monitoring That Saves Time"
5/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

It's essentially a robot that monitors webpages for you and lets you know if they've changed. You paste the URL, outline (using drawing) the section of interest (such as a price or a table or listing of job openings), and it will periodically review that area based upon the frequency you specify and notify you via email if changes occur. Because of this, you'll stop having to manually check the same page repeatedly and slowly die inside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I received a notification because of a cookie banner, then a rotating testimonial image, and last week it notified me of a change because of a date/time stamp in the bottom of the footer; these were complete non-issues and ate into my number of checks. To prevent further spam, I shrunk the pop-up until it closed and figured it out myself. That took me some time. Also, the monthly checks run out. I chose to monitor a page frequently because I wanted to find out quickly and then suddenly monitoring stopped mid-way through the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks so much, Diane, we loved the "robot that monitors webpages for you" line!

A couple of tips: in the "Alert me when" box you can tell the AI to ignore things like footer timestamps, cookie banners and rotating images, and the Block action can hide any element you never want checked (https://help.visualping.io/en/articles/6308993). To keep checks from running out mid-month, the Health page shows your estimated monthly usage, and Advanced Scheduling lets a monitor check only during the hours you need.

If you'd like help setting any of this up, our support team is happy to take a look.

"Saves Hours Weekly with Detailed Change-Tracking Notifications"
5/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

I use Visualping to track versions of software installed across corporate devices. Visualping saves me hours weekly by automating the change tracking of software versions. I also like the level of detail in the notification emails about what changed, since it helps me quickly decide how to prioritize my response to those changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I do wish that the email notifications would offer me an option to open up my Visualping dashboard. Currently the alert sends me directly to the tracked page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks so much, Marissa! It's great to hear Visualping saves you hours every week keeping tabs on software versions, and that the alert details help you decide what to tackle first.

A quick tip: in each alert email, the "View changes" button under the screenshots opens the change right inside your Visualping account, and "Settings" takes you straight to that watch. We've also passed along your idea of a direct dashboard link to the team.

"Visual Ping Makes Page Changes Easy to Track with Visual Diff Emails"
4/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

My favorite feature of Visual Ping is that it sends me an email with the Visual Diff of the page changes. Page changes are easy to track because I receive a screenshot with all of the things that changed. It only takes about a minute to set-up; simply paste in the url, select/highlight the section of the page you want to watch and you’re done. If you are watching multiple pages then you can use the chrome extension to make it even simpler by being able to watch individual pages as you scroll through them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I hate how the free version is just a teaser; 5 pages and 150 checks per month. It may seem like a lot but once you start really using it and tracking serious things you will quickly find yourself hitting the wall after a week. Also, dynamic sites are hit or miss. Some websites that load content via JavaScript or require login credentials will either produce false “change” notifications or miss actual change notifications. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to figure out why I’m getting phantom change notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the review, Jonathan! Glad the visual diff emails make it easy to see exactly what changed, and that setup and the Chrome extension keep things quick.

Thanks for the feedback on the free plan and on alerts for dynamic and login-protected pages, we've shared it with the team. If false alerts keep popping up, try telling Visualping what you care about in the 'Alert me when' box, and feel free to contact support if you'd like a hand.

"Simple and effective page monitoring with minor setup quirks."
5/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

Headline: Simple and effective page monitoring with minor setup quirks.

Review Body:

I started using Visualping mainly to track price shifts and stock restocks for household bulk buys, like the 1,500 ml Dettol dishwash refill across online grocery platforms. The setup took less than two minutes: paste the page link, crop the exact pricing and inventory section, set the checking frequency, and you are good to go.

The visual diff feature saves a lot of time because the red highlight shows the updated price or stock status instantly without digging through page details. However, you do need to tweak the crop selection carefully. If you accidentally include a dynamic banner or daily recommendation footer, you'll get constant false alerts. It gets a bit pricey if you run high-frequency checks on dozens of items, but for targeted monitoring, it works as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for the review, Nasibuddin, and for the 10/10! Love that you're using Visualping to catch price drops and restocks on your bulk buys, and glad setup only took a couple of minutes.

Thanks for the feedback on the false alerts and cost too. One tip if banners or footers keep setting off alerts: in the 'Alert me when' box, tell Visualping you only want to hear about price or stock changes. If you'd like help setting that up, contact support anytime.

"VisualPing Saves Time with Reliable Website Change Alerts"
4/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

Prior to using VisualPing, I would refresh each of the competing sites' pages weekly. With VisualPing, I simply receive an email notification when one of the competing company's website pages has changed. Oh, and by the way, I'm currently standing in the rain and my fingers are numb because my thumb froze up and I'm just sitting here doing this review to pass some time. But yeah, it gets the job done and I no longer have to check each site manually, so thank god it didn't crap out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

If you decide to monitor a particular page frequently (e.g., hourly), your credits will run out quickly and the service will stop functioning until you purchase additional credits. I hate getting notified whenever minor items such as a Footer Copyright Year Update to 2026 occur. It is extremely frustrating to be pinging over those types of updates. All I want to see is price changes, not every little typo correction made to their site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the review, Oleksii, and for writing it out in the rain. Glad Visualping has taken the weekly competitor page checks off your plate.

Fair points on credits and the footer noise. If you only care about prices, in the 'Alert me when' box, tell Visualping that you only want to be alerted on a specific price change. If possible a less frequent check can also help stretch your credits further.

If you'd like help setting that up, contact support and they'll walk you through it.

"Precise Alerts with Before-and-After Screenshots—No More Manual Page Checks"
4/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

I was using visual ping to look at a competitor’s pricing page and one government portal where a filing will appear anytime they want to post it. The key to making it work well is you are able to draw a box around that small table, so it only sends me a notification when those numbers change and not each time they switch a banner, so i get an e-mail with the before and after pictures next to each other along with one-line description of what has changed, so i can quickly tell if i need to pay attention and i’m no longer having to open that portal at 7am on monday to see if they’ve posted anything, it simply lets me know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

It notifies me of some stuff i don’t care about. Cookie notices, a rotating testimonial section and one week it notified me about a timestamp in the footer; i shrunk the area and that resolved most of the problem but i had to figure that out myself. The "important" flag only works right about 70% of the time. There isn’t a permanent method to notify them that i know about that one and please stop telling me. They’re notifying me of changes but i’m unable to notify them that i have seen that change and move on; i just have to keep scrolling past them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the detailed review, Ivan. The before-and-after screenshots with a one-line summary are exactly what we want those Monday morning portal checks to look like, and drawing a box around one table is the right move for pricing and filings.

On the noise: cookie banners, rotating testimonials, and footer timestamps are classic false positives. Shrinking the selection usually fixes them, and if you want a second set of eyes on a noisy page, contact support with the URL and they'll help tighten the area or switch to text/keyword mode where it fits better.

We've noted your points on the "important" flag accuracy and on marking a change as seen so it drops out of the list. Both are useful product feedback.

"Automatic Competitor Change Alerts That Save Me Hours Every Week"
5/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

When a competitor makes a price change or adds a new product page, it automatically emails me and overall this has saved me countless hours per week. Before i would literally wake up every morning and sit staring at their websites watching for a difference. Now i simply receive a slack alert whenever something actually happens. Glad that didn’t happen today. The screenshots show the actual text that changed and I’m very happy that i do not have to do the manual check anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

Visual ping will freakishly notify me of a ridiculous update such as a competitor’s cookie policy popup being updated or their copyright year footer being changed. Totally useless updates. Using my monthly limits quickly from worthless updates are frustrating. Trying to use the small tracking box within my mobile browsers is a complete disaster. Every time i try to drag the corners of the box my finger drags the opposite side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the candid feedback!

We’re glad Visualping is saving your team hours of manual competitor checks. We’re sorry that irrelevant alerts are adding noise and that selecting an area on mobile has been frustrating. Often times, configuring the AI 'Alert me when' condition will clear that up.

Please reach out to our support team so we can take a closer look at your setup.

"Reliable SEO Tracking with a Clean, Multi-Report Dashboard"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visualping?

I am really happy that it didn’t fail during setup. It’s pretty much the only tool I’ve used to keep an eye on my keyword rankings, back links, and it has been working well. The actual dashboard isn’t bad either. I like that I can view multiple reports without needing to scroll through multiple screens. Site Explorer is helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

It helps me with some of the SEO issues I would normally have to guess. They charge for each type of report (users & usage). As a business, this makes it difficult for us to determine a flat rate per user. Also, the AI reporting feature is somewhat pointless right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the review. We’re glad Visualping worked reliably for you out of the gate and that the dashboard layout helps you track rankings, backlinks, and competitor updates all in one place, without juggling multiple screens. We also appreciate your feedback on pricing clarity and the AI reporting signal, and are glad you shared where it could do more.
