What problems is video sdk solving and how is that benefiting you?

I run a tutoring company, and we need to create unique video rooms that tutors and students can use to meet. Previously, I was spending $120+ per month (plus usage fees) on a few different tools to make this happen, but now I am only paying for the time that I use, which has led to substantial savings. It is also far more customizable - for example, we have set up the workflow to automatically redirect to a session notes form when tutors end their call, which previously required several steps. What do you like best about video sdk?

Video SDK has many premium features like high-quality video calling, group conference calls, and chat services at a very low cost, making it affordable for me to use. Its free tier itself supports everything but even its premium version is cheaper compared to other service providers and it provides high-quality services. Also, they have a good support team. What do you dislike about video sdk?

There is one thing I would like them to improve the interaction with the screen from the user's perspective. Also, it would be great to see features like video screen minimized to a small size and can run over other apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about video sdk?

As a small startup we wanted a product which can help easily launch chat, video and voice communication in our app and videosdk was just the right product.

Pros:

- prebuilt sdk, through which you can easily plugin in plug out video, voice and chat with barely 5-10 lines of code

- a lot of open source examples from them which you can easily reuse and customise the way you want

What do you dislike about video sdk?

Nothing major, apart from one thing I felt can be improved. I couldn't add multiple users into the dashboard from my team. So, it is a single user dashboard, which I think will be better if multiple users are supported Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ready to use video/voice/chat sdk"

What do you like best about video sdk?

I was able to bring my first meeting room up even without the help from the support (less than 10 minutes). The ready-to-use examples were good enough to understand the logic and made it work with my own website. The tested connection with mic and video worked very well. VideoSDK has a super simple setup, their documentation is great, it's reliable and the best part, they have a great support staff that responds to questions quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending VideoSDK to anyone looking to add live video to their website, they have everything you need at a really good price. What do you like best about video sdk?

I am not a technical person but require a video chat function for my emerging startup for better audience engagement. We researched a lot about various video calling api and sdk, but this one was super-easy. The major problem was to retain clients on the platform. Gamification helps a little, but human interaction is more powerful than anything else. Hence we wanted an audio-video communication channel on the platform,but building such was a headache. Video sdk has solved this problem.
