Vestrybooks is church accounting and online-giving software built for small churches and the volunteer treasurers who keep their books. It does real double-entry fund accounting in plain language — pick a fund from a dropdown and the accounting happens behind the scenes, so the books always balance and every restricted gift (building, missions, benevolence) can be shown to have been spent on its purpose. At year-end, the "January Button" generates an IRS-ready giving statement for every donor and emails them in seconds. Online giving is included with a $0 platform cut — gifts go straight to the church, processed by Stripe. Board members get view-only oversight, every change is recorded in an unchangeable audit log, and data is encrypted with automatic backups.
