"Streamlined Budgeting & Data Analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I like that Velixo makes it very easy to review data in real time and the accuracy is spot on, so I don't have to worry about something not balancing or things looking unusual. The formatting stays the same, which is a great asset to my finance team. Once the template is set up, it's just a matter of opening the Excel file and refreshing the data, and any changes made in our ERP system automatically flow through. This process saves a considerable amount of time, and it's very efficient. I appreciate how Velixo has improved the skill set in my department and how it integrates with our existing ERP system. The setup was very easy, and the tutorials were simple to use, making the transition smooth. We are always discovering new ways to use Velixo to help us in our day-to-day work. What do you dislike about Velixo?

Nothing! It has met every challenge I have thrown at it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms Acumatica into a Dynamic Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I love that Velixo has transformed our Acumatica from a static program into something dynamic, making every aspect of our jobs easier. It's great that I can refresh files to get accurate data without having to export multiple reports to Excel individually. I particularly appreciate that our templates auto-refresh so nothing needs to be exported from Acumatica. The writebacks are extremely valuable too, as they save us a lot of manual entry time. The setup was quite simple as well—I had a working model within a day and felt proficient within a few weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

I wish there was a GL template that could be set up in Acumatica that would automatically make updates to the Excel files. For example, when we added the project number and quantity columns to Acumatica, they were not automatically added to every instance of a GL in Excel. We had to manually add the two columns to approximately 50 files. I wish it would connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Native Excel Reporting with Real-Time, Flexible Data Access"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

Here are the standout strengths people usually highlight:

1. Native Excel experience

Velixo works inside Microsoft Excel, so you can build reports using familiar formulas, pivot tables, and formatting. There’s no steep learning curve.

2. Real-time data access

It connects directly to systems like Acumatica and pulls live data. That means no exports, no manual updates—your reports are always current.

3. High flexibility

You can design highly customized reports (financials, budgets, dashboards) exactly the way you want, instead of being limited by rigid templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

Steep learning curve at the start

Even though it runs inside Excel, getting started isn’t always easy.

Setup can be technical and confusing, especially if you’re not familiar with ERP structures.

Building your first few reports can take time to figure out.

👉 In simple terms: it looks easy, but mastering it takes effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Hi Gauri, thank you for such a thorough and thoughtful review — I read every single one personally, and you've articulated the Velixo value proposition better than most! Native Excel experience, real-time data access, high flexibility — that's exactly what we set out to build.

The learning curve feedback is fair. A couple of things that should help:

First, Velixo Academy at learning.velixo.com is available to everyone, completely free of charge. It's structured to take you from the basics all the way through to more advanced reporting, so it's a great place to get grounded without having to figure things out on your own.

Second, we're working on Velixo Intelligence, our AI-powered layer that will help users build reports and troubleshoot formulas using plain language — which should meaningfully lower the barrier for getting started. More at: https://www.velixo.com/product/ai-velixo-intelligence/

Feel free to reach out to me directly at gabriel@velixo.com if there's anything I can help with. And we'd love to turn this into a 5-star experience!

"Effortlessly Streamlines Reporting with Excel"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I find Velixo very flexible and yet easy to use and familiar. It's built on the flexibility of Excel, which is great because I'm already very comfortable in building what I or my users want to see within the framework of Excel. Velixo gives me a combination of those abilities and access to my data. The setup of Velixo was silly simple! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

The biggest area for improvement would be some way to better understand how fields are related and mapped and how to access such. It's not always simple to search for a specific field because sometimes there are other pieces of information that need to be known or filtered on. Having a roadmap to these things would be very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Damien Zwillinger of Velixo

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review — I really appreciate it. I personally read every review and regularly discuss this feedback with my team, as it helps guide where we invest next.

I’m glad to hear that Velixo’s Excel-based approach feels familiar, flexible, and easy to use, and that setup was straightforward. Helping teams consolidate data across companies and update actuals and budget comparisons efficiently is exactly the kind of value we aim to deliver.

Your feedback around understanding how fields are related, mapped, and filtered is especially important — and it’s an area where we’ve been making meaningful progress. I’m happy to share that we now have a visual query builder available for Sage Intacct, Acumatica and Business Central users, which makes it much easier to explore available fields, understand relationships, and build queries without needing to know all the underlying details upfront. The goal is exactly what you described: providing a clearer “roadmap” to the data, making field discovery simpler, and reducing the friction involved in building and maintaining reports.

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for choosing Velixo. We’re excited about what’s coming next and appreciate you being part of that journey.

Warm regards,

Gabriel Michaud

"Effortless Excel Integration for Acumatica Users"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I like that Velixo makes it easy to replicate reports we were used to using and utilize Excel functions and formatting. Once you get past the learning curve, Velixo makes it easy to pull data from Acumatica using Generic Inquiries. I find it incredibly handy that the data is in Excel for easy adjustments and formatting. I can't stress enough how well Velixo integrates with Excel. I've created macros that run on top of Velixo to generate batch reports with a click of a button. Velixo's initial setup was pretty painless with their team's help, and we quickly replicated our current reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

There is a bit of a learning curve. Velixo has good documentation and templates to help but it can take some getting used to. Like any other Excel function, the syntax is very specific. You also need to know where to find the data you are looking for. The best way to figure it out is to just play around with it and try to do individual and specific things. Once you have that down, then you can start adding complexity and generating full reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Time Data Management, Minor Log-in Hassle"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I think Velixo works awesome each time we use it to load time entry data from Acumatica. It eliminates the need for manually looking up time logged for each employee for margin analysis by updating the backlog weekly, which means no more human errors. I like that the tool loads each time we open our spreadsheet without needing to remember anything; it just works. The best part is that it doesn't only pull the time for the last week; it goes all the way back to inception and pulls all records, ensuring any changes to time recordings are captured as well. The initial setup was a piece of cake! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

It asks me to log in each time even when there is an option to remember my choices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excel-Based Reporting with Direct Sage Intacct Connectivity"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

Velixo is an excellent reporting tool overall, especially for organizations that rely heavily on Excel-based financial reporting and want direct connectivity to systems like Sage Intacct. When reports are well-structured, it can dramatically improve flexibility and reduce manual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

Performance can become inconsistent when reports pull large volumes of data across multiple periods, GL accounts, locations, and other dimension combinations. In those cases, reports can bog down significantly, and it’s often difficult to pinpoint the root cause. For example, is the issue related to the amount of data being requested, Sage’s ability to efficiently return the data, a server or connectivity issue, or simply a limitation within Velixo itself? Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks can sometimes feel more like trial and error than a clearly diagnosable process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this detailed and thoughtful review — I genuinely read every single review we receive, and feedback like yours is invaluable to us.

I'm glad to hear that Velixo has been helping your finance team improve efficiency and reduce manual work. At the same time, I completely understand your frustration with the performance issues you've described. You're right that troubleshooting slowdowns across multiple periods, GL accounts, and dimension combinations can feel like a guessing game — and that's something we want to fix.

We've recently rolled out some changes that may have impacted your experience, and I'd love the opportunity to look into this directly with you. I'd also love to share some self-service tools we're working on to make it much easier to diagnose and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks on your end.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly at gabriel@velixo.com — I'd love to make your reports faster and turn this into a 5-star experience. That truly matters to us!

Thank you again,

Gabriel

"Velixo Saves Hours with Easy Data Pulling and Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

Velixo is a giant time-saver for the work I do. It makes pulling data from our inventory management program, and manipulating it, so easy; within the first week of using it, I probably saved a couple hours that would usually be spent setting up reports I need in my day-to-day tasks. I'm excited to see what other time I can save. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

So far, I haven't found anything I don't like about it. I suppose it isn't the most intuitive to a non-tech-oriented person like myself, but Velixo provides a lot of helpful resources to get over this hump, and we've got someone on our team who is super helpful in bridging the gap for me as well. I also don't know a way to make it simpler while still keeping the great functionality it has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Built-In Query + Excel Base: A Huge Time-Saver for Acumatica Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

The latest feature of the built in query has really expanded the functionality of the product beyond its outstanding features. The ability to use excel as my base for Acumatica has been a time saver and made the learning curve much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

My only complaint about Velixo used to be that I had to rely on GI’s in Acumatica to gather the data I needed. The recent query feature has really changed that for me. At this point, I don’t have any real dislikes. I do run into the occasional connection issue, but it’s more of a minor annoyance and it’s usually easy to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A True ERP Companion"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I'm a business analyst where I work. As a result I am not as much of a daily user of Velixo as others in the company. I do however still use it and I am the only "admin" for it. Basically, if the team needs a new report or way to use Velixo, it's me they look to to create it. As a result, I feel uniquely equipped to speak to its value as both a user and someone who configures its use for others.

Our team is much more familiar with Excel than any ERP. As a result, Velixo gives them data in a format they are already familiar with and know how to use.

What I like best is how all of that connects to the true power of Velixo, which is a live connection to our Acumatica database. We don't have to struggle through dated reports because we can pull the data in as it updates through Velixo. That provides flexibility that is more difficult to create natively in Acumatica. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

The only thing I would like to see "improved" or even just added as a feature is a change the Drilldown function. Currently, the Drilldown pulls up another sheet, but rather than just pull in a list of the transactions or relevant data, it hyperlinks to Acumatica. This is fine. You get to the data. But you have to go into Acumatica to see the data you really want. And then you have to export back to Excel if you want to re-arrange it in any way. It just feels like extra steps that could be reduced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Damien Zwillinger of Velixo

Thank you for your detailed feedback! It is highly appreciated.

Your drilldown idea is very much noted and is in fact in our backlog of roadmap ideas. We envision a solution that would be highly flexible/configurable. I shall reach out when this progresses. Thanks!
