This feature is undeniably great! No question about it. - Excellent noise reduction. Another feature that is almost flawless. - Nice image filters. - Easy to use. **What do you dislike about VanceAI Photo Restorer?** - Their software doesn't do a good job fixing or enhancing faces. I tried numerous pictures of varying sizes and qualities and absolutely all of them ended up looking like other people. - Almost every single time it would create objects out of picture imperfections such as dust and scratches. - Image processing is VERY slow. I downloaded the desktop app, because according to the instructions on their website it performed much faster, however when I tried to use my credits, it wouldn't allow me to use them. I had to pay separately. - When I requested a refund indicating these issues, they responded with a dry "no" and included a screenshot highlighting a policy that indicated they were in no obligation to provide refunds if the user "didn't use the product" or "didn't read the instructions", which wasn't true at all. After several attempts, nothing happened, they still refused. Ironically, on the other hand they said that they were "committed to improve the software so that I would not be inconvenienced in the future but will not grant a refund at this time". Beware with non-customer-centric companies. - If their AI features aren't any good for my basic needs (image restoration, especially faces), then I'm back on square one with my current non-AI tools which work ok for the rest of the things this software is also ok at. - Their suite of software is also unnecessarily complex. They should've included everything in a single piece of software rather than trying to squeeze out every penny possible from customers. You just drag and drop to upload an image, and select the mode to use. Either restore:which removes scratches, tears, sepia and spots from old photos,or to colorize and convert black and white photos naturally to color. You can choose a rendering setting to colorize, and for the restoration it is 100% done by AI. The Vance AI Photo restorer can auto repair images, as well as enhance faces and old photos. I used this to restore personal old black and white photos of myself, and also to restore all of my Grandparents photos to surprise them. They were absolutely shocked with how well they turned out! There is also a data safe guarantee that all images will be deleted within 24 hours, which is essential for trusting a company to share private photos with. In the AI workspace there are a heap of different options to restore the image, such as AI photo enhancer, upscaler, image sharpener, background removal, portrait retoucher and more. It takes about a minute to restore photos, which may seem long, but considering the amount of time you save compared to manual retouching, it is worth the wait! You can also batch process images which is great. Vance AI has workflows including AI Super HD, Portrait Retoucher, Night Scene, and Old Photo Repair & Colorize. You can also create and save your own workflows. Each image uses 1 credit, and they are very affordable starting from as low as $0.018/credit. I love that Vance AI has different payment types. You can just pay as you need to use it unlike many other photo editing services. There is also a desktop version of the app (PC only), that is available for either a monthly or yearly subscription, with the option to buy a lifetime license and not need to rent software. **What do you dislike about VanceAI Photo Restorer?** The thing I dislike the most is that there is a Windows app to download, but there is no Mac option available, so you can only use it in a browser on Mac with purchased credits, rather than buying a lifetime license. **What problems is VanceAI Photo Restorer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps me restore old black and white and also damaged photos that I never thought would be possible to restore.
