"One of the most comprehensive Vision AI solutions on the market"
What do you like best about Vaidio?

Out of the box shrink wrapped analytics that address the vast customer requirements / use cases. Scalable from 1 to 1000s of cameras. Getting started is very simple and scales to meet the needs of the organization. Vaidio in my opinion is very quick to introduce the latest capabilities such as Natural Language queries and searches. Vaidio also has a vast number of VMS integrations maximizing it's ability to interoperate in just about any existing video environment. An additional value point is the ability to reuse most customer existing cameras as long as the cameras are IP and omnif compliant. This is a big cost savings for customers who want to leverage their existing camera investments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vaidio?

Customers must use models trained @ Vaidio. There is no ability for customers to train their own models. Having said that, Vaidio has a DIY tool that allow customers to label data used in LLM training which Vaidio performs. Custom models are possible but it's a joint effort between the customer and Vaidio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pound-for-pound, the most versatile solutions available"
What do you like best about Vaidio?

The best aspect of Vaidio is its all-around versatility ... one analytics package can deliver 20+ analytic types on any H.264 camera. I am a security system integrator with familiarity with dozens of various analytics systems. And I've learned from experience (... the hard way) that the vast majority of end-customers are reluctant to run different analytic platforms for different purposes ... face recognition on one platform, license plate recognition on another, forensic search on another. Not only does the end-customer have to develop knowledge of each different platform, he or she also has to become proficient in multiple systems, train their employee for each system, maintain licenses / hardware, etc for multiple systems. This multi-system model ends up becoming to a time / resource burden and a barrier to effective usage.

With Vaidio, implementation and adoption is much easier and far smoother. The client is far more likely to use the system more frequently and effectively because all analytics are managed in a single platform. Training is easier, maintenance is easier, etc.

Another factor to consider is that end-customers security challenges change over time. What was yesterday's security priority takes a back seat to a new challenge. Because Vaidio is an all-in-one platform, clients can immediately shift to running analytics on new cameras, or choose to run new analytics features entirely, rapidly.

I've seen this many times with Face Recognition. Upon an initial consultation with a client, they are completely uninterested in Face Rec. But then something happens ... and they decide they need to implement. With Vaidio, I can tell the customer, "not a problem. It will be running by the end of the day." Ditto for LPR, People Counting, Line Crossing, Age / Gender, Personal Protection Equipment detection, and a variety of other.

Frankly, "push button" analytics sells and is popular with clients, and Vaidio delivers this better than any platform I've used to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vaidio?

While Vaidio may not necessarily have the absolute "best-in-class" video analytic for every feature they offer on their platform, I've found that Vaidio analytics are 99% as good as other stand-alone analytic packages that claim to be "the most accurate". So yes... if you're looking for the one analytic package (Face Rec, Crowd Detection, etc.) that performs marginally better in one particular scenario, then go ahead take and look at that platform. But nine times out of ten, the 1% accuracy gain is unnoticeable and you've now made the overall cameras system more expensive, complex, and harder to maintain. I'll take Vaidio's all-in-one package versatility 99% of the time, unless there is a highly-specific edge case that demands a highly-specific analytics. And even if that happens, Vaidio writes custom analytics, and may be able to offer that feature in short order. Adaptability > Specificity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
