I find UpGuard very helpful in providing continuous visibility into our risk surface, especially concerning vendor risk assessments. It allows us to monitor domains, cloud services, and other credentials effectively. Automating vendor assessments and questionnaires streamlines things considerably for us. It helps us identify shadow IT and other risky user behaviors. The unified platform helps in efficiently identifying or understanding risks by replacing multiple tools with one source of truth. One challenge I have with UpGuard is that it would be helpful if they can aggregate the information about vendor assessments and questionnaires, like if there are other vendors who have recently gone through assessments. I wish that information is available publicly, so we don't have to run those assessments over and over again. It helps monitor the vendor's security rating and alerts, instead of individual affiliates going in and checking if those assessments have been completed or not. Where to begin? The onboarding process was painless, especially with the help we received from UpGuard. We’re also on a monthly schedule with a dedicated rep who checks in on our progress, answers questions, and shares the latest updates on the software. If there’s anything he can’t answer directly, he schedules time with an engineer so we can get the right information. Adding new companies to our ever-growing list is about as simple as it gets. The only issue I have is that creating our own security questionnaires within the platform isn’t very easy. The way we’d like to ask certain specific questions can be difficult to configure. We have a home-built questionnaire that we still continue to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Vendor Risk because it helps us vet companies effectively by showing us the certifications they have, such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001. I like the automation of a very time-consuming process with UpGuard. It saves so much effort that's usually involved in manually tracking security questionnaires. I also appreciate the ability to customize questionnaires to be as specific as needed, allowing us to create based on our needs rather than being restricted to older templates. Setting it up was extremely easy. We were up and running in just a couple of hours. Importing a list of our vendors from a spreadsheet was very fast and easy, unlike manual input. There could be a better audit trail of data collection as far as when questionnaires are created, when they're sent, when they're followed up on, or when they're answered by the vendors. I would like a better audit trail showing me who did what and when. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UpGuard provides a very intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface, making it simple to monitor security risks across our organization and third-party vendors. Some of the alerts can feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially when they require deeper investigation to determine their actual impact. This tool has improved our workflow by making it much faster to search for and analyze a vendor’s risk, so we can decide whether we want to partner with that vendor. The pricing feels fairly reasonable given the range of use cases it supports. We’ve also had great support from the vendor, and the onboarding process was quick and straightforward.
