Unsourced Reviews & Product Details

Most AI-visibility tools hand you a score that estimates how often AI mentions you. Unsourced is built differently. It relies entirely on evidence you can open, check and track. The platform bridges the gap between traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and modern Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) by delivering precise, verifiable analytics directly from server logs and live LLM interactions. Unsourced prompts the questions your buyers actually ask across every major AI assistant, captures each answer, and shows whether your site was cited and/or visited. Unsourced is also capable of revealing which competitors were cited instead. It then confirms from server-side crawl logs that a genuine AI crawler actually fetched the page. This is verified against published IP ranges and forward-confirmed reverse DNS to block spoofed user-agents. After you fix an optimization gap, it re-checks that exact topic and shows a measured before-and-after tracking metric. Unsourced provides enterprise marketing teams, technical SEOs, and web developers with explicit citation receipts, verified crawler identity, and physical proof that an optimization fix worked. This eliminates reliance on third-party traffic estimation models and gives businesses a clear look into how AI agents like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude crawl, index, and surface corporate content. Key features & Capabilities: Multi-engine citation tracking: Monitor brand visibility and attribution across OpenAI (GPTBot), PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and Anthropic. Verified crawler identity: Eradicate analytics inflation by isolating real search bots using automated, double-reverse DNS lookups and verified IP matching. Training data vs. live crawl analytics: Distinguish between citations pulled from static model training datasets and real-time web searches. Algorithmic before/after impact audits: Run immediate re-checks on specific URLs to verify that technical content updates successfully trigger new AI search citations. Client-ready reporting: Export PDF data audits, evidence logs, and gap analyses to present clear performance metrics to stakeholders and clients. Infrastructure & Deployment: Unsourced integrates seamlessly into existing enterprise web stacks via lightweight server-side deployments, including native edge computing configurations for Vercel, Cloudflare Workers, and Next.js middleware. It requires no client-side JavaScript tags, protecting site speed and ensuring zero Core Web Vitals degradation. The software also functions as the underlying data collection engine for the proprietary AI Crawler and Citation Studies published in the Unsourced research hub. The platform captures the raw server-side logs used by enterprise organizations to audit LLM compliance, verify bot behavior trends, and track shifting search patterns across monitored networks. Pricing is structured across three flat-rate tiers: Indie (£39/month for up to 2 sites), Studio (£89/month for small teams, adding daily scans, webhook alerts, and Developer API access), and Agency (£199/month for multi-brand fleet dashboards, team seats, and up to 10 sites). Additional sites can be purchased for any tier at £16 a month. All tiers include a 10-day free trial with no credit card required to begin auditing your AI search footprint.
