We use TrustCloud to manage our compliance tasks, risks, and documentation in one place, and it really simplifies day-to-day governance work. Trustcloud make it easy to automate various compliance frameworks simultaneously due to the shared controls across the platform. We utilised this feature to achieve ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type I and II certifications with minimal additional effort. The interface is very user-friendly, and I want to commend TrustCloud for their outstanding customer success team, who are always ready to assist with any issues that may arise. The pre-configured templates simplify getting started even with new frameworks. Additionally, integration with our external systems makes evidence collection straightforward, and we receive reminders for manual tasks both on the platform and via email when updates are needed. While the platform is generally effective for automating compliance, the user experience could be enhanced. Some features don't function as smoothly as they should, particularly when working with lists, identifying issues during evidence upload, and navigating the site to find necessary information, which can be cumbersome. TrustCloud has been a helpful tool throughout our SOC 2 renewal process. The UI is clean, the automated test framework helps us stay audit-ready, and the support team (shoutout to Sara Dema) has been consistently responsive and knowledgeable. What I find challenging about TrustCloud® is that its extensive feature set can initially feel overwhelming for new users. For teams unfamiliar with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks, the learning curve to fully understand and configure workflows might slow down adoption at first.

User Friendly Interface; TrustClouds interface is designed with simplicity in mind making it effortless to comprehend and manage data privacy compliance. Without expertise in data privacy I found it incredibly user friendly.

Extensive Coverage; TrustCloud covers a range of data privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA. This comprehensive coverage provides me with reassurance that I'm fully compliant with all regulations.

Automated Compliance; TrustCloud automates compliance tasks such as data mapping and risk assessments. This automation not saves me time. Also guarantees that no crucial compliance steps are overlooked.

TrustCloud has proven to be incredibly valuable, for my business. However there are a couple of areas that could benefit from some improvements.

1. Pricing: The cost of TrustCloud can sometimes be a bit high for businesses, like mine. Although the undeniable benefits it offers cannot be overlooked, having more affordable pricing options specifically tailored for businesses would be highly appreciated.

2. Learning Curve: While TrustCloud is designed to be user friendly there is still a learning curve involved when initially using the platform. For a software platform that automates so much of the SOC2 process, I'm pleasantly suprised that my favorite part of using TrustCloud is their customer success and support team. From initial onboarding and sync with our systems to creating custom integrations, the team has been incredibly responsive to our many, many questions.

The TrustShare site that syncs with TrustOps is really powerful. Even as we're preparing for our SOC2 audit, we're able to share our approved policies and monitored controls with our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
