Trayd Reviews & Product Details

Trayd is a construction platform that brings payroll, accounting, job costing, HR and field time tracking together in one platform for contractors. Contractors use Trayd to replace disconnected desktop software and spreadsheets with one system of record that runs from the job site to the general ledger. Crews clock in from the field on a geofenced mobile app. Their hours flow into payroll, and each payroll produces journal entries tagged by project and cost code that post to the general ledger. Trayd is built for the parts of construction payroll that generic software can’t handle: union wage cards and fringe benefits, prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon projects, certified payroll reporting (including WH-347 and state formats), and multi-state payroll tax filing. Key features: Construction payroll: union and prevailing wage, with federal and state payroll tax filing Certified payroll: WH-347, state-specific formats and LCPtracker exports Union payroll: wage cards, fringe benefits and union benefit reports Construction accounting: general ledger, AP, AR, bank reconciliation and financial statements Job costing: labor cost by project and cost code, plus WIP reporting, budgets, retainage and project billing Field time tracking: mobile clock-in with jobsite geofencing, crew scheduling and foreman tools HR and onboarding: worker documents, certifications, time off and company announcements Integrations: QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, NetSuite, Vista, Spectrum, ComputerEase, ProContractor, Structure and Intuit Enterprise Suite Who uses Trayd: union and prevailing wage contractors who want payroll, compliance and accounting in one place. About Trayd: Trayd was founded in 2021 in New York City by CEO Anna Berger, who grew up in a construction family, and CTO Cara Kessler, formerly of LinkedIn. Trayd is backed by White Star Capital, Suffolk Technologies, Y Combinator and RXR, and has raised $15 million, including a $10 million Series A in 2026.
