"TimeClock Plus: Reliable, Easy-to-Use Workforce Management"
5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

We have been using TimeClock Plus for more than 10 years, and it has been an outstanding workforce management solution. When we first started using it, we had around 40 employees. Today, we operate two manufacturing plants with more than 700 employees, and TimeClock Plus has grown right alongside us.

The system makes it easy to manage attendance, occurrences, vacation accruals, PTO, and FMLA, helping us stay organized and compliant. One of our favorite features is the scheduling module. We can create schedules for entire groups and make mass schedule changes in just minutes, which has saved our HR team countless hours.

The software is reliable, easy to use, and has continued to meet our needs as our company has expanded. I highly recommend TimeClock Plus to any organization, whether you have a small team or hundreds of employees. It's a dependable solution that scales as your business grows. "TimeClock plus: Easy to Use, Fast, and Backed by Responsive 24/7 Chat Support"
5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I like TimeClock plus for the ease of use. I can have a new employee clock in and out with minimal instructions. The program is fast and minimal to no glitches. As a supervisor I appreciate the 24/7 chat option. I have been stuck on a Sunday morning and needed help and was actually surprised there was a live person ready to chat with me. I appreciate the emails informing me when the App will be down due to updates. The price is comparable to other companies. I have not tried to integrate it with other programs. I also have not used any AI integrated options yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I find it a little complicated setting up new employees, remembering how to set up managers to approve hours. We have a few managers and I can never remember how to get that set up to approve their staff hours. I also wish notes could be attached to a print out when I print the payroll hours. "Reliable, Easy-to-Use Time Tracking That Streamlined Our Payroll"
4/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

We've been using TimeClock Plus for about three years to manage employee and substitute time tracking, overtime, leave, payroll exports, and the mobile app. Overall, it has been a reliable and efficient system that has streamlined our payroll process.

One of the biggest advantages is its ease of use. Employees have little trouble clocking in and submitting time, and as an administrator, it's easy to make corrections, review records, and track employee time. The reporting features are helpful, and the software integrates seamlessly with our C&C accounting software. Our payroll export process is straightforward—we simply run the appropriate report from TimeClock Plus and upload the file into Foxie for import into C&C.

The system has proven to be dependable and has significantly reduced the amount of manual payroll processing compared to traditional timesheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

My biggest concern is the cost. TimeClock Plus is more expensive than several comparable products on the market. I also wish there were more flexibility in creating customized individual employee reports to better meet our reporting needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thanks for the detailed review! Glad to hear TimeClock Plus has made time tracking, approvals, and payroll exports so efficient for you. Will pass along your feedback on pricing and custom reporting to our product team!

"Flexible, Powerful Timekeeping with Excellent Reporting and Support"
4/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

What I like most about Namely Time (TCP) is the level of flexibility it provides. The system is powerful and supports complex timekeeping, scheduling, and pay rule configurations, allowing organizations to automate processes that would otherwise require significant manual effort. Its reporting capabilities are especially valuable, making it easy to analyze workforce data, identify trends, and support informed decision making. While the system's depth can come with a learning curve, that complexity is also what makes it so adaptable to unique business needs. I have also been consistently impressed by TCP's support team. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and have been instrumental in helping me fully utilize the system's capabilities and implement solutions that improve efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

One area for improvement is the integration with our HRIS, Namely. Employee fields and demographic changes do not always sync or update automatically, which requires additional manual maintenance and increases the risk of discrepancies between systems. I would also like to see more automation around employee punches, such as automatic clock in and clock out functionality where appropriate. While TCP is highly configurable and powerful, reducing the amount of manual intervention required for integrations and time capture would make the overall experience even more efficient. Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thank you, Zachary, for the great feedback! Happy to hear how well TimeClock Plus has been for you and your team. I will be sure to pass on your area of improvements to our product team.

"Simple, Reliable, and Great-Looking UI"
5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

It's simply and just works. The UI looks good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I do not like how missed punches are handles. If I forget to clock in, I can simply just clock in and submit the correct time. You have to wait until the end of your shift to select missed punch. Otherwise , it forces you to clock out when you submit the missed punch. Would like to be able to just clock in and input the correct time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus has made clocking in more flexible for your team. We'll pass along your missed punch feedback!

"Intuitive Dashboards and Stellar Support"
4/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I really like the intuitive dashboards with all the different widgets when you first log in as either an administrator or manager, providing quick access at a glance. It makes the interaction with the system quicker and gets people in and out of the system fast so they can review just pertinent information, like missing punches or pending time-off requests. If somebody was in the market for a timekeeping system, I would definitely give it a solid eight. It does everything that they're going to need, plus the service team is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

Well, the configuration between the Prism HR software and the TimeClock Plus by TCP system could be improved. I would like to see a filter for blocking certain types of employees from actually syncing over into TCP from the payroll system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thank you for your review! We're glad TimeClock Plus is helping you track hours, manage employee data, and monitor time-off balances.

"Effortless Time Management with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I like how TimeClock Plus by TCP makes our clock in/out process easy and how it simplifies time calculation for payroll processing. The setup was very easy, which was a huge plus. I also appreciate TimeClock Plus customer support; they are always very responsive when I have an issue or question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I wish it would format my employee monthly timesheets so I can just hit the print button and it will have the timesheet on one sheet of paper. Right now, if an employee's timesheet is only one page, I have to go in and add blank pages after theirs to keep everyone's timesheet on one individual sheet. Otherwise, when it prints and I tell it two-sided, it might print two employee records on the same sheet or split an individual's timesheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thank you for the detailed and great review! Glad to hear TimeClock Plus is making your time tracking easier. I will be sure to pass on the timesheets info to our product team.

"Accurate Time Tracking and Easier Payroll Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

What I like best about TimeClock Plus is how straightforward it is to review employee hours, make corrections, and prepare time data for payroll. It gives me a clear view of regular time, overtime, PTO, and missed punches, which helps me catch issues before payroll is processed. The system also makes it easier for managers and employees to maintain accurate time records across multiple locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

The reporting and correction process can sometimes feel more complicated than necessary. Certain screens require several steps to locate missed punches, adjust hours, or confirm approvals. A more streamlined payroll review dashboard and easier report customization would make the system more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thank you for sharing your experience with TimeClock Plus! We're glad it's giving you a clear, reliable way to manage time and payroll accuracy across multiple locations. We'll pass along your feedback on the reporting and correction workflow to our product team.

"Reliable Core Timekeeping, but Support and Analytics Need Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

TCP does a lot of things very well for a timekeeping system. So far, the data has been incredibly accurate and reliable. Once you set the rules for calculations, it runs them correctly, although getting those configurations set up can be a challenge. We were given two dedicated enterprise support people, and they have been very helpful and knowledgeable about TCP.

The interface is simple and effective, but it can sometimes be difficult to find things. The export feature is also nice for creating our own scripting, and we’ve had success uploading files to their SFTP server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

My biggest complaint with TCP is the separation between the teams we work with directly and their backend/development teams. The process feels very siloed, and when we run into a problem, it often takes a long time to get a clear answer, solution, or fix.

TCP has also not been very transparent with timelines or issue resolution. We frequently find ourselves waiting months just to get an update on how long a fix may take, and then it can take several more months before the fix is actually released. Once a fix is available, much of the testing seems to fall completely on us, which is time-consuming. I wish TCP would be more proactive with bug testing, communication, and follow-through.

We were also promised that Analytics would allow us to build custom dashboards and do more with our data. Unfortunately, Analytics did not deliver on that promise. The data reporting was often inaccurate, the dashboard and report-building process was difficult, and the system would frequently break or not work as expected. We ultimately ended up canceling that feature.

Overall, TCP has useful functionality, but support, communication, bug resolution, and Analytics have been frustrating areas for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nancy Newton of TimeClock Plus by TCP

Thanks for the detailed feedback! We're glad TimeClock Plus is delivering accurate, reliable payroll processing and helping with meal premium compliance. We hear you on the challenges with support communication, bug resolution, and Analytics, and we'll make sure this feedback reaches the right teams.

"TimeClock Plus: Easy Time Tracking, Quick Start, and Straightforward Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

TimeClock Plus is easy to use, and our employees can review their time, including both their accruals and the hours for the day they’re currently working. It’s quick to get started, with only two steps to begin the day. Reports are also straightforward to generate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

There is no downside that I can think of, other than the usual pitfalls that occur with internet driven software. If the internet is out, you cannot use the software. The hours are easily updated by management once the internet access has been restored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
