There is a lot of flexibility in design and setup so it can exactly match the needs of your company. The ease of use for end-users is also a great feature, allowing for easy login from desktop or mobile. Also, my experience with support is that they have been extremely helpful. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** There is definitely a learning curve with TCP. It will require some time and patience, and you may end up troubleshooting a problem for a considerable amount of time, even with support's help. The complexity also means whoever is managing the system needs to be diligent in their design and attention to detail. My only real critique beyond that is that I have found some of the settings to have unclear wording, and not fully explain what they do for the system. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** TCP functions as part of our workforce management solution. In a most basic sense, it is our time tracking and PTO system. ### 2. The ease of use for our employees is outstanding. We even use it now for our time off requests, elimintating paper usage. There are many levels in the basic program that are available. The remote access to process payroll is priceless. The customer service couldn't be better. No extra fee and they will help you with setting up new functions and any issues that may arise even years into usage. The representatives go above and beyond to help. The company will walk you thru implementation and setup. There will be a lot to setup! **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Connections issues do arise, especially with the app. Sometimes it does not process in a clock in or out. When the servers go down at TCP (which has happened more then once) there is no using the program and you're back to writing things down. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Calculating time for over 60 employees every week. ### 3. This has always been a good option from them and still is needed today. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Support, especially at Tier 1 is severly lacking and not knowledgeable about their products or how they work. Tier 2 and 3 seem to be where the best support is at. The way the system updates are not fully tested has created numerous errors and issues that we have to track down to be very specific about or they just recommend "work arounds" and not any real fixes. We spend more time just trying to get it to work the way it should than being able to use it to work smarter. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Right now other than basic time keeping (which still has issues) there is nothing higher level that we are using it for. The product is often a marvel. Every feature implemented within the base system is incredibly helpful. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** The level 1 support techs are less than worthless most of the time. My knowledge of the system often far exceeded their own and I was a customer. When the product doesn't work as intended, the team will fight you to claim that it is, then claim that it will cost you, and will fight you to implement things that their own documentation states is already implemented. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** TimeClock Plus removed our reliance on paper timesheets; we created two full boxes of timesheets every year in prior years, which has largely been eliminated by our work with TCP. ### 5. It is easy to use and implement, and it provides a variety of ways for employees to clock in and out, including through a web browser, mobile app, or physical time clock device. Sales and Support have been very helpful with us, and while pricey, I would have to say it's well-valued due to the dedication of the TCP team members. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Some features require additional setup or integrations, which took some time to figure out. The rest of my 'cons' are more specific to our situation, so keep in mind that if you are going to use TimeClockPlus, you may have to change some of your processes with your staff. We had difficulty with automating timesheet approvals, integrating our payroll accounts, multiple shift schedules, and time off management. Be thorough with your sales rep, TCP was very honest with us but they had no way of knowing our budgeting schema is from the 1930's. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its provides a comprehensive reporting utility, and record-collecting ability. Most of them had to do with our current setup is a hybrad as we have some older clocks that require a local server but we also are a cloud Customer. But where TCP Support realy shinned was helping with a Migration and upgrade to the latest version. Literally did the whole thing for me remotely while I watched on. It was above and beyond what is expected out of support. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Becuase we run a hybrad (local server and cloud) we have some unique issues that are bothersome. It seems like ever time there is an upgrade pushed out it breaks something in our local server. That being said it's only a quick call to TCP Support and they have always resolved on 1st call. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mostly just what you would expect out of a Time keeping system. I mostly manage the technical piece of this so I don't personally use the program much. This product is simple to understand and doesn't waste employee time trying to sort out time off requests. I love the notes feature because it is a quick way for me to get information to staff individually or as a group to ensure a prompt completion of payroll cycles. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Sometimes our hardware for the point of contact / physical clock in goes in and out of functioning and has to be rebooted. This seems par for the course when working with any technology though. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The TCP product makes our payroll process smooth by integrating time keeping reports easily with our CPA's software. This means that the company is saving money and I am saving time on this process. The system, once programmed, is keeping all of our employee's vacation accrual and use records accurately. I periodically audit this as people change roles or new staff join the team. It is reassuring to know that it is functioning as they promise it will and keeping us safe from employment suits based on time or vacation accrual discrepancies. ### 8. It can only round each punch. I'd like each day hours to be raw then round the total hours at the end of the week. We have found that TCP offers a really good way for Clients to manage their various Jobs and Stages of Jobs in order to provide them with important data based on their employees clocking. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Because there are so may features, it is sometimes a bit cumbersome when changes need to be made to just a few employees or things. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We did have a situation recently regarding salary employees and tracking their clocked time. Typically salary employees do not clock, however in this instance, the Client wanted to track their time worked on specific tasks but did not want these tracked hours to impact their set salary amounts or hours. Since we import this information out of TCP into a payroll system, I did not see how we could import hours and ignore them from being paid, but yet still apply to job reports. TCP has already figured this out and it works perfectly. ### 21. Up until TCP, we were receiving weekly time sheets faxed to us from 17 locations; about 100 employees, all hand-written. I LOVE being able to read the hours and the Notes! And, I can easily print reports for an individual, or a site. TCP is definitely User-Friendly. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** We were downloading hours into QuickBooks for a while. We quit because it took us just as long to go back through all of the hours to check and correct as it did to manually enter the hours into QB. We are in the process of again setting up the downloads. The importing and exporting features make mass changes a breeze. It works as it is intended for; however, sometimes, those do not align correctly with a school district. It was so easy to integrate from the start. We went from paper timesheets to all on the computer in no time at all. It allows the employees to clock in or out, and they know exaclty how much time they have accured or available to use instantanously. The employees have a link on their computer and can easily clock in or out. Some of the employees even have it setup on their phone so they can clock in or out with out needing their computer, which is an additional feature that make is well worth while. It allows complete customization no matter what you workflow is, you can make TCP fit you business needs. From a management point of view I don't have to worry about keeping accurate records for any of the employees time. I never have to worry if something is miscaluated or added incorrectly, it is all handled. from start to finish. The software was very easy to setup, we went from a local on-prem platform to a full cloud implementation without any issues. Their tech support was right by our side during the implementation process and we were up and going in no time. Customer service is always there to provide a hand, no matter if it is just a simple question or ends up being something they have to take ownership of and work to help figure out the best solution. They are only a phone call, chat or and email away when you need assistance. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** So far, I haven't really had any issues or things I don't like. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** TCP software helps to solve a number of problesm right out of the box. It accuratly tracks and records when a person is on the clock. It allows employeeds to easily clock in or clock out with out being a hinderance. It allows rules to be created and setup to track anytime of time you want(sick, vaction, comp, PTO) It is full customizable so rules can be setup for what ever the stituation might be. It handles and keeps track of all the things that are involed with FMLA and allows complete documentation for each case. It has an app for any mobile device to allow employees to manage their time from where ever they might be. ### 26. I used ADP prior and had no problems. It is also a very labor intensive program. Posting of set holidays does not initiate prior to day of holiday. I want flexibility of when to post it to timesheets. There is no supervisor mobile app version available.
