We know that we have a profound impact on our region and state, but now we have a quick visual way to do so. ThankView emails have our highest open rates and engagement. I also like how easy it is to drop content into ThankView. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** I don't have much to say in the cons area of ThankView. This is the second organization that I have used this product and was thrilled when my current job procured ThankView. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving a connection issue for our alumni. Most of our alumni are spread out or disconnected once they graduate since we are a younger institution. The video aspect helps us steward donors and connect with potential donors in a new and interesting way that was not possible before with social media. Social media relies on others following us, ThankView sends key content to the right audience every time. ### 2. ThankViews receive high open rates and occasionally a reply from an appreciative donor- which never happens from a mailing. It's also so easy to implement and saves time and postage. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** Nothing. I want to use it even more than I already do and wish I had a team of volunteers that could use it. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** ThankView allows me to make stewardship more personal and meaningful, and to connect donors with the impact of their support- students! Although we still stack our stewardship options so that most donors receive a personal touch as well as a letter in the mail, many parent donors do not pick up the phone or panic when they see the school phone number calling, assuming that there is an emergency with their child/student. Thankviews retain the personal touch while removing the risk of a rushed phone call or one that comes at an inopportune time for the donor. ### 3. I just recently capped out on how many people we could send something to based on our contract; thankfully, we were able to delete some old contacts to make it work. Sending and opening a video file over email is fraught with issues, from file size to the recipient's comfort level with technology. ThankView eliminates nearly all of these barriers with an aesthetically pleasing interface and simple usability for the creator and recipient. I do not worry about whether the video and message will work. It just does. And that's to say nothing about how easy it is to record and send customized videos. As a new gift officer during the pandemic, it was crucial to develop relationships with people I did not have the chance to meet face to face. It remains important, especially for new donors assigned to my portfolio. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** There is a learning curve, like with all new platforms. The video library can be a bit overwhelming and requires some organizing on the user's part. Each unique video needs to be filed away. It would be helpful to have a Library folder automatically created where every video created within a Campaign is housed, rather than having to go back and sort them yourself. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** Effective donor, or in a more crude way to view it, client communication. There for, it is sometimes hard to show the work that we do. With ThankView and using video, we can bridge that gap a little better. I love the ability to create custom landing pages with different imagery depending on the focus of the video. I also appreciate how easy it is to use a single video to send personalized communication to many people. Even if we don't say an individual's name in the video itself, the ability to include their name in the email and on the landing page makes it feel truly personalized. I also love that we can have users record videos directly in the ThankView system, which makes it easy to add them to landing pages. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** I find the system very intuitive on the whole. I did experience a small learning curve in understanding where within the system I can create branded landing pages and envelopes outside of creating them within a campaign, but that was easy to overcome. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to increase the amount of personalized stewardship that our team sends without increasing the number of staff. ThankView has allowed us to use video at scale, sending personalized touches to many people with a small investment of time. We do a massive video stewardship project for our annual giving day, and switching to ThankView compared with executing it manually the year before literally saved 90% of the time (outside of recording the videos) in setting up and sending videos out.
