**What do you like best about Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)?**

It is a good option available in marked with password based and PED based HSMs depending upon the FIPS requirement of the customer. They also have the cloud version of it known as the DPoD to store your private keys.

**What do you dislike about Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)?**

They need to also provide more USB based HSMs for SMBs so that everyone can safely store the required private keys

**What problems is Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping the organization to safely secure the Private keys for their PKI environments while providing other use cases too

**What do you like best about Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)?**

The specialized  Security World architecture of nshield HSM and provides the  strong and more granular level controls for the  access and usage of keys and policies.Apart from that easy backup procedure and not required additional device for backup HSMs  and the simplicity of Security World manage entire key lifecycle is great feature.
Scalability is also achieved easily

**What do you dislike about Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)?**

GUI can be faster to manage the keys and cards and HSM.

Easy to use and backup and for achieving compliance can help.

Thales HSMs were easy to setup
Thales Professional Services team was able to write the custom software we needed

Expensive but definitely worth the cost, other than that no dislikes

-Gather and define your requirements
-Engage Thales Professional Services team early on in the development stage
-Plan for frequent milestone meetings with the PS team

**What problems is Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to generate certificates to inject into our phones at the assembly line. The HSMs helped us to securely store the key blobs containing the certificates in a third party factory.
