The support is outstanding, some of the best in the industry. **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** There is nothing really anything that I can point to as a dislike. If I had to nit pick, perhaps it could execute a little faster. **What problems is TestArchitect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Obviously automation of previously created manual tests. I like the customer support team they are very responsive and supportive. For me was a short beginning the software menu is quite good and you have so many possibilities to create. **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** Ok its just the beginning for my company its not enough. Supports all control in the desktop application technologies. The image recognizing is very good. **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** UI and usability of this tool can be improved a lot. **Recommendations to others considering TestArchitect:** You can consider Test Architect for Desktop applications and when you are trying to migrate your tester to Automation this tool is best, will not intimidate the testers who are learning to code and adopt automation **What problems is TestArchitect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to automate 2 different version of the product like legacy and new technologies and TechArchitect fits both. Our Application is a mix of UI and C++ components, TestArchitect is helpful in automating the UI with inbuilt action and harness while the C++ components are automated using the image verification techniques. ### 10. I like the option to use a harness for other programs such as Java/Python/C#. The support team responds in a timely manner. **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** There is not a time format so there isn't a way to say something along the lines of wait 10 minutes plus or minus 1 minute in TA. **What problems is TestArchitect solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefit of using TA is the ability to quickly and rigorously test software. ### 11. The concept of action based testing is great and definitely a potential game changer. **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** They could do with more step by step videos for new users. I did have some difficulties downloading the trial version intially. **Recommendations to others considering TestArchitect:** Ensure you test it on your environment prior to purchase. This is a important step in any software evaluation. **What problems is TestArchitect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Regression automation suite - having an automatic regression suite is a major time/cost saver. ### 12. Integrates multiple programming languages and is easy to use and code (even for beginners). **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** It is a little slow and can cause delays while running tests. **What problems is TestArchitect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to use Test Architect for mobile automation mainly and also some selenium based automation. ### 13. I also really liked the option to use Java/Python/C# to control Test Architect , and I even ended up using the Python test harness capability to get around certain scenarios where Test Architect fell short ( such as when you need to minimize the application under test and switch to something else, like the native Android gallery app for example ) **What do you dislike about TestArchitect?** I did not like the overall slow responsiveness of the software. When navigating the menus and such there always seemed to be a noticeable 1/2-1/4 second lag which, while it was manageable to work around, it was also pretty annoying after extended use of Test Architect. **Recommendations to others considering TestArchitect:** If you are not a self starter and anticipate relying on their support a lot, I would recommend planning ahead to have adequate time. Their support is outsourced to somewhere in Asia and the language barrier can make communications (email or phone) difficult and time consuming.. **What problems is TestArchitect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm solving a scenario where there is absolutely no in-place automation for the mobile application under test and everything must be built from scratch, from the ground up. The User Interface mapper component is immeasurably helpful for this and makes mapping the interface to elements for automation a fairly quick job. ### 14.
