It effectively allocates our resources into groups and evaluates misconfigurations that would lead to security breaches. Savings Recommendation feature present in its Budget intelligence provides a fantastic cost forecast, savings plan, reservation purchases, and overall costs after saving. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** Tenacity doesn't get any dislike as it aids with preventing critical breaches and cost-optimization by up to 30% on our monthly spending on cloud infrastructure. It gives us immediate insights into our concerns regarding our AWS assets, compliance postures, and budget implication. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tenacity provides excellent visibility regarding the various compliance standards such as CIS benchmark, GDPR, HIPPA, and CSF which are priorities for our clients. With these insights, we can offer reliable & satisfactory deployments to their requirements in AWS environments. Its Violations Dashboard provides critical, high, moderate & low severity AWS violations, compliance certifications attached, and involved resources. ### 2. Tenacity shows the costs of different services, including historical data. We can see the cost on each Dynamo, SQL table or the Lambda function and then we can adjust our architectural decision towards optimizing our final product services. Also violations benchmarks are very helpful. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** I see an opportunity in a more detailed cost break down e.g. which reading/write request causes the most significant spending, or sometimes I need to specify a time range on what I need to make a cost calculation. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Tenacity for cost calculations and analysis. This helps us identify services that significantly impact the product costs, which we can flexibly reflect in our architecture design. ### 3. My expectation bar was raised! One upgrade would be a way to pinpoint AWS cost trials for a specific IoT device so we can predict how much that specific device type will cost once deployed to our customer. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Two problems we are solving are 1) a real-time knowledge of cyber risks & 2) AWS costing so we can plan our expenses properly. Benefits are better planning for cloud data expenses. ### 4. The team is excellent and super responsive to anything we suggest or need in the way of support. I'm impressed with where Tenacity is right now and can see massive room for future improvement. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** I don't have anything specific in the way of "dislikes"; I am very excited for future development and features to be added. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our environment is entirely cloud-based, and finding tooling to help us identify risk has been a challenge. Tenacity has become the cornerstone of our security program. Translates complication AWS CUR and clearly shows any compliance violations. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** To this point there isn't anything I dislike. **Recommendations to others considering Tenacity:** If you need any easy-to-use tool for continuous visibility into your public cloud infrastructure, costs, and compliance status, I haven't found an easier-to-use or more cost-effective tool. This makes it even easier to understand what's going on in your environment and take action. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** Currently, you cannot create custom compliance STIGs. Additionally, the lack of API/documentation can make automated workflows difficult. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cost and compliance insights. We are improving our security posture and compliance. ### 7. Seeing the frameworks and which specific controls in each are met or missed is very helpful. I also like the cost optimization 'alternate' suggestions, which give you several good options to help meet your specific needs. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** It's difficult to be critical of a product that continues to be improved every day. For now, I'd say the lack of Azure support is the biggest missing piece; but, it won't be missing for long. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Running a side by side comparison of a manual process vs using Tenacity, I was able to reach most of the same cost optimization conclusions much more quickly with Tenacity. The compliance view is a clear winner for me, as it would be impossible to get the same information manually and burdensome to keep the rules engines up to date. **Official Response from Steve LaChance:** > Thank you for your review and feedback! The best thing about this is that if you ask then you get and you get it quickly. **What do you dislike about Tenacity?** So far, so good. Support is great. I guess sometimes logging in to the UI and seeing new changes and features can be slightly overwhelming. **What problems is Tenacity solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm ensuring that my AWS costs are in control using a view that AWS Cost Explorer cannot give you. **Official Response from Steve LaChance:** > Thank you for reviewing Tenacity and providing feedback!
