TeamBrain Reviews & Product Details

TeamBrain is a team knowledge management and project collaboration platform that enables teams and AI tools to access, contribute to, and organize shared documentation, tasks, and decisions from a single centralized workspace. The platform is built on plain markdown files, which allows AI tools that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), including Claude and ChatGPT, to connect directly to the same workspace used by human team members. This means AI assistants can read from and write to the same knowledge base without requiring separate integrations or manual context-sharing between tools and people. TeamBrain is designed for teams that rely on a combination of human collaborators and AI tools, where institutional knowledge, project decisions, and task context frequently get distributed across chat threads, shared drives, and individual team members rather than stored in one accessible location. Key features and capabilities include: - Decision Log: Every change in project direction is recorded alongside the reasoning behind it, not just the outcome. This allows new team members, contractors, or connected AI tools to understand the context and rationale of ongoing work without requiring a handoff or explanation. - Built-in Project Management: Includes a Kanban board, calendar, comments, and asset storage to cover core task and workflow management within the same workspace. - MCP Integration: Any AI tool that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect directly to TeamBrain, enabling AI assistants to pull relevant context or add structured information to the shared workspace. - Markdown-based Architecture: All content is stored in plain markdown files, keeping the workspace portable, readable, and compatible with a wide range of tools and workflows. - Centralized Knowledge Base: Documentation, task history, project assets, and decisions are stored together, reducing the time team members or AI tools spend locating context before starting work. TeamBrain is suited for small to medium-sized teams working with distributed contributors, virtual assistants, freelancers, or AI-assisted workflows where continuity of context across participants is a recurring operational challenge.
