## About Team Absence
Team Absence is an absence management app built for Microsoft Teams. It replaces spreadsheets and scattered messages with a clear, visual calendar where teams can manage vacations, paid time off (PTO), sick leave, days off in lieu, remote work, and other absences in one place. Create dedicated boards for departments, projects, cross-functional teams, or an entire company. Employees can record absences directly in Microsoft Teams, while board administrators can configure absence types, optional approval workflows, important dates, public holidays for more than 100 countries, and team structures. Personal and team views make availability and overlapping absences easy to understand, while insights and downloadable reports support planning and internal communication. Team Absence can synchronize planned absences with Outlook through connected meeting invitations, helping keep calendar availability up to date when dates change. It works with Microsoft 365 identities, requires no separate employee accounts or duplicate user lists, supports mobile access, and is independently reviewed and Microsoft 365 Certified.
