TapeTrack has been useful in the organization of manage our tape library at the central point. The software effectively monitors our tape assets to always have records on where the physical assets are and makes disaster recovery processes manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting features are not very flexible and seem to have been bolted on. Creating ad hoc reports that can be used to summarise how tapes are being utilized over time, finding out which of them are no longer in use, or studying sets of data of specific interest might not be easy.
