Having a dedicated tool, optimized for a bespoke use case, is tough to top. Part of my ritual for board preparation – as a creator or consumer – is to snap into focus in Surfboard. It always helps with consistency, clarity, and repeatability. Purpose-built software for board management and engagement. It is great to have one centralized place for all board-related materials. It keeps us more organized than before and has increased engagement from the board via agenda setting with pre-read/watch for meetings and acts as a forum for asynchronous discussions. - Surfboard is the company's internal blog. We post every week. We post monthly for financials. And we post quarterly financial statements and an in-depth review of the quarter. Every time I hop on a call with the board, an investor, or an advisor, we don't waste any time with an update because they are already in the loop. Saves us so much time!

- The Surfboard team is super responsive if anything is buggy (which can be expected from a rapidly growing tech company), and they get it fixed immediately or in the next sprint Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes our Surfboard invites go to folk's spam folders. This can be difficult with our CVCs because the firm may block the link. 99/100, we can get approval from IT, and everything works out fine - just a bit of extra leg work to get the investor on the platform. I haven't encountered a real downside on my end. I imagine there's some work for the team to bring insights to light in the platform, but then again, with integrations and leveraging AI, it should actually be easier than doing it any other way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
