## StreamYard Reviews
 ### 1. They don't have competition - they have imitations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan B. | Collaboration Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

StreamYard is a product and streamyard is a community. Buying into one really gives you access to both and that's where its power comes through. I produce three to five live events for five different customers a week, StreamYard allows me to connect to their video platforms as well as custom video output and recording. This is invaluable. The platform is straightforward, it is stable, and its results are consistently wonderful.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

A few of the beta features are clearly in beta. I can't really fault the company for not delivering something it has told us it's testing, but there are moments where its a bit of a bummer.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an organization's live public events through StreamYard, an artist's ticketed events through StreamYard, public video presentations through StreamYard. It has simplified what would have taken hours of manual labor into a simple interface.

 ### 2. Hassle-Free Streaming for Pro or Noob

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chung Hock T. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It's so easy to use that we could set up a Facebook Live event literally within an hour for beginner like us. Best part is no technical knowledge is required for my guests, as long as they know how to navigate through a web browser. Love the overlay function which I can customize my streaming accordingly. Ability to select different branding also allows us to set up streaming for different client at east. In term of connection, so far it has not failed me during any of the streaming. Since it's cloud base, it doesnt depend on the connection of the technical host, the show goes on! Function to pull in live comments from Facebook or Youtube is just amazing!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Looking forward for the update where we can have more than one host to produce the streaming. Some of my guest also looking for the function to have a virtual background to hide their current background.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My clients mostly are not technical, looking for an easy solution to stream their interview, and Streamyard comes in a lifesaver.

 ### 3. Engage your audience better with StreamYard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chuck M. | President and Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Supported by a set of robust but easy-to-use tools, the platform provides an attractive interface that allows presenters to enhance their live and recorded broadcasts. It's also much easier to go live on Facebook using StreamYard than the native Facebook application which I feel is overly complicated.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The $25/month plan allows unlimited streaming but only to three platforms; for that fee, I feel this limit could be raised. I really have no other complaints!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm in a challenge that asks participants to conduct a live broadcast every day for a month. StreamYard allows me to make my lives much more interesting with banners, screen sharing, the ability to invite guests and apply my branding. I can set my banners up ahead of time and use them to guide me through my broadcast like a script. I plan to keep going live and using StreamYard to create recorded videos after the live challenge has concluded.

 ### 4. Great for multi-person video conferencing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like that you can video conference from anywhere, anytime, from any device, especially from a cell phone, without installing extra software.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There is often a short delay in audio, but once you get used to it, it's not a big deal.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really solving problems per say, but we use it regularly so that our team can come together and chat about certain topics we need to discuss.

 ### 5. Simple interface. Powerful features. Beautiful outcomes!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amitha A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The outcome of the live streams is beautiful. On-screen graphics, video inserts can make the live stream really engaging. Ability to feature viewer comments on live stream is a great engagement tool.
The back-stage studio is so simple. It took me less than 30 minutes to figure out all the features, and that's enough for you to create a really amazing live stream.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing that I can think of. If there's a feature that allows us to invite someone else as a "co-host", would have been a bonus.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

It's easy and affordable. You can always try it and see for yourself.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using this tool to engage with our alumni and potential students through regular live streaming interactions through Facebook.

 ### 6. Very good experience using Streamyard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos Andrés M. | Contratista profesional CPS, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The ease of broadcasting to social networks and the simplicity of the interface. I especially like that it is very stable and that even if my internet connection fails, the broadcasts do not drop.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The value of the membership, without being an exaggerated amount, I consider that in this time of pandemic the service is very necessary and useful but somewhat expensive for me.

I would also like for one to be able to have collaborators within the studio.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live streaming with OBS is very complicated if you don't have a good internet service or a good connection speed. With Streamyard, I was able to solve that issue and stream with very good quality and stability. It allows for very good image and sound quality, especially for conducting music masterclasses and conferences.

 ### 7. Streamyard practically saved our nonprofit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh L. | Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The subscription price is fantastic value, the features are brilliant, and it's easy for anyone to pick up quickly and learn. And above all else, the team behind Streamyard are all personable, and support is fantastic and fast. I would (and have!) recommend Streamyard to any person or organisation looking for a professional streaming solution.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing. When I first starting using the software, there were minor improvements that I was hoping for (the ability to name uploaded videos, etc), but these have all been added since. I'm confident that if a feature is missing, it isn't far off, and the team are very receptive to ideas to improve.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After COVID hit, our regular US fundraising parties for our nonprofit in Tanzania ended overnight, and we had to find an online solution. Streamyard ticked every box - we could easily host virtual parties, invite in guests and stream these events to the broader public. We have run very successful fundraising campaigns with Streamyard since that time, and we're so impressed that we're likely to continue even once the world starts to reopen.

 ### 8. Amazing - even for event agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sascha W. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

We are using it for a while now on a professional basis. It is great to Stream to different destinations such as Hopin, Pine, Webinargeek, YT, FB and many others. The options to play videos during the live stream are great. We are loving the overlay and background options. I know many people are using Streamyard for streaming on YT or Linkedin but it is possible to create an outstanding experience for your viewers - even it's a virtual event. I like that they are so easy to use. Even if you are inexperienced, you can create a good-looking stream without that much background knowledge.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The only thing: (as far as I know)
You need a blue/greenscreen if you want to have a virtual background.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streaming to multiple destinations
Creating virtual event experiences
Hosting Panel Discussions, Firesides and others

 ### 9. Going live has never been easier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | PARTNERSHIPS & INFLUENCER MARKETING MANAGER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

What we enjoy most is the ease of ability to stream a live video to multiple destinations at once. Editing the "voice" of the stream depending on the social platform you're on also a positive. Depending on who you are as a brand or company, you can change the title or context of the text before you schedule the stream.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Not a lot to dislike, but it would be helpful to have a comprehensive view of visibility for each stream you do with multiple destinations. Instead of going into each social channel to see the analytics side, I wish Streamyard "streamlined" the process.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're becoming more visible to our audience with Stream Yard due to the ability to stream in more places than one. Our consistent content strategy has made waves with potential customers and partners.

 ### 10. A must for live streaming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin S. | Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is very intuitive so there is no elaborate learning curve.
There are lots of tutorials on YouTube that will help guide you through any issues that you do come across, and the streamyard community on Facebook is the absolute best.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There really isn't anything that I just like about streamyard. There have been features that I have wanted in the past, and through their online community, I am able to let them know about the features I want, and so far every single one has come to fruition

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Choose the package that allows you to upload in 1080p

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are lots of people that don't want to add a program like Zoom to their phone or computer, and that's what makes cream yard so nice, since it's a browser-based platform

 ### 11. Amazing Streaming Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus S. | Case Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is incredibly user friendly and easy to navigate. The latest editions offers me the options to load video recordings or vids from other platforms while streaming my own live interviews

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I have not found anything about streamyard that I don't like so far, excuse the platform is incredibly stable

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started my love stream vlog cast at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to offer independent music artists an opportunity to share their music and pandemic life with the world from the comfort and safety of their homes and other venues all while waiting out the pandemic. The platform was also used to steam concerts and offer encouragement to the artists and fans alike to keep working even though the world seemed to be at a standstill

 ### 12. Best tool for YouTube streaming.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuj S. | Sales and Marketing Mentor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Best tool for youtube streaming. I have been using it for quite a while and it's simple and the best part is you don't need to log in you can use the link to join directly.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

It requires a lot of internet and it's very costly but we can run android studio simultaneously.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streaming is made simple & no tutorials are needed to use as it's simple to you.

 ### 13. YSNLive.com StreamYard Review

**Reviewed by:** DJ Y. | Founder/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the ability to make each show feel like its own. The branding, customization, and flow is outstanding.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

No complaints. I enjoy each feature of SY.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Enjoy the ease of use

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We close distance issues with interviews and updates. We no longer have to be in-person to do our job.

 ### 14. StreamYard makes the process of live streaming both EASY and FUN.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice T. | DONA International Certified Birth Doula, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the streaming interface in StreamYard. It is very intuitive and took no time to learn how to use all of the features. From sharing your screen to adding banners, this software is so EASY. I even was able to add a guest in a few seconds, and it was seamless.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I'm struggling to find any downsides to the StreamYard software!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to teach virtual childbirth classes live on YouTube with the StreamYard software. The setup for each class couldn't be any easier and I love being able to create banner for each class in advance and save them in their own folder. This keeps me organized and is another way that StreamYard takes the work out of live streaming.

 ### 15. The BEST & most RELIABLE service for broadcasting live on the internet!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe R. | Executive Vice President, Content: Romero Picture's Indie Brigade, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is the best and most reliable service for broadcasting live on the internet! I have been using them for almost 2 years and never had a hiccup or issue. Very user friendly for the amateur and professional alike. They listen to their users on their weekly town hall broadcasts and are always improving.
Can't say enough good things about Streamyard! Try it. You won't regret it!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There is nothing I dislike about Streamyard. It is the best!

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Try their free trial. I guarantee you'll be hooked! The best and most reliable service around, and I've used a few.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamyard makes our weekly interview show look extremely professional.
It is always reliable. Our audience loves being able to interact with us live.

 ### 16. Excellent Platform for Multiple Platform Streaming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon A P. | Executive Assistant/Operations Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The newest feature to upload previously recorded contact from a LIVE platform and the ability to stream on multiple platforms

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The limit of 1 hour to rebroadcast unless you upgrade your subscription

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me the ability to broadcast over multiple audiences this is the benefit it's great

 ### 17. DumbMarksPod StreamYard review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher J. | Sales Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Creating a program without editing later.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

That StreamYard limits you to 3 streams.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you are looking to showcase yourself or brand with video, StreamYard is an easy way to get that message across. You can share your screen, video, images and more. I think StreamYard has helped give us more of a professional look and feel.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before StreamYard, we were recording in segments and then editing together later. Now we record straight through and minimal editing after. I wish we could stream to more than three social media sites at a time, but this is helping us reach more viewers. Before, we were also an audio-only show, and now we create a video program as the main show and download the audio-only file for the podcast audience.

 ### 18. Great for Keeping Productions Afloat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharíck LaMay G. | Media Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the option to have the chat come onto the screen and the ability to simply engage with people from anywhere in the world.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I dislike the lack of customization for the lower thirds and branding. I can always tell when someone is using streamyard because of this. Perhaps there could be a higher tier in pricing that allows more customized options.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Be sure to customize it as much as you can and make your own backgrounds.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My cohosts and I all live in different cities and states even so we were able to host our show on this platform dispite our distance. It also allows for us to create new shows and reach both audiences on Facebook and YouTube.

 ### 19. Streaming made easy with StreamYard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis B. | Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I don't have to install anything! My hard drive appreciate this. It exceeds my expectations because I can share screen, send a message to all attendees (no matter where they are), communicate with the speakers privately. It includes features such as custom background, access to the recordings, custom branding, etc.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The first time I used it, the browser was consuming lots of memory. This has been significantly improved.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We organize community streams and it's so easy to broadcast to Facebook & YouTube, where our tech communities interact. Moreover, all speakers don't have to install anything and in less than 5 minutes they are all set. Some of the configuration happens in background. Our events have definitely improved thanks to StreamYard's characteristics.

 ### 20. Best tool I could ever recommend for live streams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler O. | Media manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

We found streamyard when we were looking for a multiple stream source option for a live stream event and we couldn't be happier! It allows us to seamlessly prep for and stream from 12 sources seamlessly. We are blown away by what Streamyard can do!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Literally nothing. Love everything about it!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamyard lets us stream from multiple sources across the world effortlessly and a high production value

 ### 21. Great Service to Get Streaming

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | President & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

StreamYard is simple and easy to use - literally anyone can begin using it without much knowledge or need for video production skills.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

StreamYard is limited on the ability to customize views, typefaces, etc. You can also only stream one thing at a time. So, if you have 2 events at the same time - you need 2 StreamYard accounts.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you're are looking for something robust - StreamYard isn't for you. If you're looking for getting something to get you streaming online in multi places at one time with an easy-to-use SaaS, StreamYard is a great software.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using StreamYard for both businesses and streaming church services. It's allowed us to stream to multiple places like Facebook, YouTube, and our website at one time.

 ### 22. The most convenient streaming solution available

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah J. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is based entirely online and requires no desktop client whatsoever. Its easy to use with almost no learning curve. You can schedule a multi destination stream in seconds. And gives you plenty of customizability.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I would like to see more options to control the built in banners and graphics, as well as the ability to layer overlays on top of each other rather than displaying one at a time.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Have someone on your team who can churn out graphics quickly and easily to customize the stream and make it more unique.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives us the ability to manage our content schedule with ease and speed and broadcast to every platform we have with the click of one button.

 ### 23. Streamyard - Made for You!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stuart B. | Retired, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Their three pillars are, Ease of Use, Stability and Professional Streams. I would say YOU could put them in any order of priority but they are in the right order for me!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing! I found Streamyard just at the outset of the pandemic and have never once been let down. In fact, just the opposite- they're always improving the user and viewer experience.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you need to connect with customers, followers, colleagues, audiences, partners, friends, family - anybody really, then using the power of livestreaming and Streamyard's cloud services, you can make an impact on their world and even make a difference in our world!

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems that are being solved are connectivity, community, entertainment and engagement!

 ### 24. So user friendly that is so hard to look at their minimal flaws

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aron K. | marketing director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The interface is very user friendly. I was using the platform almost 5 minutes after signing up. For most of my tasks the platform works pretty well and it has most of the features we could need.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish it had more camera options like personalized backgrounds without the need of green screens. I also think a better bandwith management would make it better for low speed connections. I can see that zoom does a good job of handling this type of connections

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you have guests ask them to enter the broadcast room with a lot of anticipation before streaming so they can learn if they webcam or mic works correctly

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: we solved an issue where we wanted to transmit some kind of stream aimed at professionals in our market. It worked pretty well as it can be connected to facebook and youtube where our audience is.

Benefits: a very easy way for our guests to connect and use the platform with us since our show is based on guest interviews

 ### 25. The smoothest streaming platform on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

What's striking with Streamyard is how easy it is to manipulate the tool. In the past, we had to set up rehearsal calls with external speakers to know how to use the tool. We still do it, but it usually takes 2mn. Besides that, the backstage mode is fantastic: it allows us to go session after session very smoothly and have all the speakers in the queue. And finally, the branding options are very interesting;

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Nothing really. The only thing I could mention is related to social media platforms. It's a shame that we can't broadcast on an event page and on the company page itself (on Linkedin) at the same time. Also it would be nice to bring more interactive features such as live polls.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Streamyard we have enabled our team to create live experiences with our community including guest speakers, while benefiting from the impact of social network

 ### 26. The Go To Program for Curated Online Productions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

StreamYard's stage management capabilities are what makes it the go to software for producing online theatre. Being able to easily add and remove performers, move them around the screen, change backgrounds, add images and overlays - it means that you can truly 'direct' your show and create a world beyond Zoom boxes. Having the export capability that means an audience is never 'backstage' in the show also provides in-system chat for the cast, no worries about audience members turning their mike or camera on, etc.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

StreamYard only allows 12 people in the system at once. It's not ideal for large cast shows.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StreamYard works well to create livestreamed theatrical performances that are more curated than something produced through Zoom, Meet, etc. It's easy to use and user friendly. It allows easily accommodates having a Stage Manager or Director who can work 'backstage' in the platform, see all the performers, communicate with them in real time, and not be seen by the audience.

 ### 27. StreamYard Has Been An Amazing Platform For Us!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky R. | General Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

StreamYard makes it easy to film and produce excellent content that engages our viewers. It is user-friendly, easy to figure out, and perfect for those just starting on their platform. We have found it to be great for all of our team members. Our audience responds so well to the content and the style that we use. The audio is great and the visual is too. Our guests have appreciate to the ease of use and it is not difficult to explain to them what it is and how to use STreamYard. The technology and software behind this are topnotch. We love that you can have up to 10 people involved in the stream. The call to action button is a great feature as well.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There really isn't anything that we dislike about the StreamYard platform. It has benefited us greatly and contributed to our success in livestreaming. Overall, StreamYard makes it easy to film and produce excellent content that engages our viewers. It is user-friendly, easy to figure out, and perfect for those just starting on their platform. We have found it to be great for all of our team members.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved our ability to livestream quality content. The benefits are immense. Increases our engagement with our viewers and makes the work easier on our team! It would be great if we could expand our use of this product and additional features were added to increase our ability to live stream. We would like better editing capabilities and captions if possible.

 ### 28. Truth only.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Writing and Editing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It is effortless to use. It has all the features anyone could ask for plus more. I tried a few different sites. For me, StreamYard is the best. I do at least one show a week but more if I can. I can do as many as I want to.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

There is nothing I don't like. I found everything about StreamYard just the way I ilke using it including the speacial features.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a writer and a speaker. It is such an easy way to get a message out to the world and the public. It is easier to talk then right. The same time you can creqte what ever image you want. I realize I get to touch souls that I would have never any other way. I have full control over who I bring on my show. I can block anyone I need to. The best part it is saved and I can still send people to it.

 ### 29. Great tool for LIVE videos.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | On Air Personality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Multiple streams at once. Viewers Love to see their profile pics on live feed comments. Ticker, share screen, overlays. I can go on and on.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I have these mp4 lower third custom overlays that would give my streams a more custom look. I understand that I can't use them on StreamYard. I'm not too fond of the fact that I can't use mp4 overlays.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

StreamYard is like having your very own TV station. StreamYard has changed my streaming game immensely.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an online radio station. Facebook doesn't allow music on live streams, so I broadcast on streamYard with my mic muted and add a link to my audio feed. This helps my audience know when I broadcast live on my website.

 ### 30. Super simple set up, ready to start to broadcast.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis S. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It is very easy to use, but more importantly, it is easy to set up. You just create an account, and login to the services where you want to stream, (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitch...).
You don't have to set up keys. Streamyard connets and sets up the stream automatically.
It is also easy to have guests, you just share a link with them and they just have log in with Facebook or YouTube.
Another thing I like is that if you get disconnected form the Internet, you stream isn't terminated. If you have a guest, the guest may continue streaming.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I don't like that know the guests have to log in via Facebook or YouTube. Before the guests didn't have to be logged to any account.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

You just have to have an account in the platform where you want to stream, it is easy to set up. They don't stream to Instagram.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solved that I don't have to connect the service to the platforms where I have to stream with keys and other complicated processes.

 ### 31. Invaluable Tool for Remote Pivot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah Miriam C. | Video and Social Media Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Streamyard is incredibly user-friendly and perfect for pivoting to remote lectures. It is miles easier than any other options and allows speakers to focus on what they have to say and not worry about the technology.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish there were more spots backstage or a way to keep people in a waiting room. I also wish there was an easier way for speakers to share their powerpoints without having two monitors.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamyard allows us to continue our lecture series that would have been in person throughout the semester. Now that we've gone virtual, we've been able to bring bigger speakers who would not have had the time to come to campus AND we've reached a much larger audience.

 ### 32. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** The Notary Institution J. | marketing consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love how user-friendly streamyard is. I love that it is cost effective. The streaming quality is awesome. I recommend everyone to use streamyard.
My guests love streamyard because it does not require them to download additional software to join as a host.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The only downfall is when I stream in Facebook groups, I can not see their name unless the user allows streamyard access, and it does not show me how many people are watching from different platforms. I can only see youtube numbers.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to stream on all my platforms without having to do them individually.I love that I can stream from my phone also. Awesome Platform

 ### 33. Good for Beginner Youtuber and podcasters

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khalid K. | Senior Editor & Head of Talent Acquisition , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The best thing about the platform is that it is completely web-based. You don't need to download any software for streaming. You just need good internet and you're good to go.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

It consumes RAM which if obvious but considering it is a web application the RAM consumption should be low.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

my company also trains people who're interested in web development. I take frequent podcasts and stream yard helped me a lot in doing so. It also has a free plan which is best for beginners and youngsters who want to start their youtube journey.

 ### 34. LOVE Stream Yard ... It's Amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frankie V. | CEO and President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love how easy it is to get Stream Yard up and running and how effective their service is. It does exactly what it should and much more. You can stream now, later or whenever you feel like, in seconds. You can be super creative, and it never fails (service never drops, etc.). The tools are also excellent. You can be super creative with their lower thirds and background image uploads.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Audio Call-In numbers should be a priority for the company.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streaming our content through live engaging content has never been easier for us. Rather than building something to go live or use a clunky service, Stream Yard takes care of all our problems.

 ### 35. Streamyard for DJs is a must have post 2020!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love that it allows me to have multiple profiles and switch seamlessly between them. Also allowing me to stream to a multitude of different mediums with one single click is absolutely amazing a such a time saver when launching your stream.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I guess the only thing I think streamyard could personally integrate for DJs is the ability to run my OBS Streamlabs Live Intergration widgets.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to steam to as many of my channels at once and the ability to host others in my stream allows me to run a stream without any disruptions or need to have the users refresh after each performance.

 ### 36. Amazing and Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorena S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like that it is so easy to put our live stream online, and we have excellent features to make the stream looks awesome

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish they have integration with Instagram

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Great to make livestream and connect with your audience

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me talk with my customers on a better way

 ### 37. Get Stream Yard now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen B. | A host of the Therapy of the Absurd Podcast, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the ability to stream live to multiple destinations all at the same time. When we go live our podcast can be seen on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and and Periscope.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The lack of custom overlays available. Sometimes LinkedIn has trouble connecting for whatever reason.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

You've gotta try this site. It's so easy to use and makes podcasting easy. Anyone can pick it up and go. Folks of all skill levels give it a try.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stream Yard has given us the ability to reach multiple people on different platforms all at the same time. We realized how happy our audience is to enjoy the podcast on whatever social media site they prefer.

 ### 38. Very accesible in many different ways

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro G. | Head of Content & Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Its ease of use and dependability. We have used many streaming production tools, and Streamyard is by far where our guests have less issues to connect to. Its system requirements in terms of computing power, network connection and browser/OS are very light and it is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Layout options are a little bit too limited. We usually have to use another tool (OBS) to rearrange layout.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Very easy to use and reliable. You can count on your guests being able to connect without problems.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online conferences with speakers from all over the world that have limited time for learning a complex tool or dealing with connectivity issues.

 ### 39. A Gem in a sea of wannabes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Easy to use, doesn't drop lives, actually shows comments from viewers, lets you pre-schedule and have clients get reminders, quality is great, you can use your own graphics/icons and ability to stream on multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Quality can be less if you're not directly connected into the internet (aka no wifi)

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've successfully used streamyard to livestream challenges, launches, and product reviews, as well as regular trainings in my community. It's done exceptionally well. This has lead to an increase in sales, reliability and quality content. I have used several other streaming platforms from restream, belive, and ecamm, and while some of them have their plusses, streamyard does what I need it to do everytime.

 ### 40. Ease of use and fun. Clients love it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe W. | Cretive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the security of having everything in the cloud and knowing that if I have a connection issue on my end, the entire show will not go down. Clients love the ease of knowing that they can see it exactly as the audience sees the final product. Also it is SO easy to add and manage presenters/speakers.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Since it is cloud based, it needs a way to organize and rearrange uploaded assets like overlays and uploaded videos. I really wish it had some preset looks to switch between, like going between a preset of host and 5 guests to a host and 2 guests or something like that - basically it needs a "pro" mode to take it to the next level for those who are used to working in a tradtional switcher with preset looks. Needs more flexiblity and control over graphics and fonts.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is really easy to create a much more professional looking event with GREAT ease of use for clients and guests. It can take a webcast to the next level with minimal effort.

 ### 41. Streamyard is very user friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danni A. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

What I like best about Streamyard is how easy it is to use. As someone who is not highly technical I was able to create my first broadcast right away and it went well!
I have expanded to doing twice a week broadcasts that I can schedule ahead and it's cool I can see both Facebook and YouTube comments in my chat!

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish I could see the colors of the people chatting as I can on YouTube. It would also help to know when a comment has been removed by one of my moderators and this is not possible.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

I would recommend getting the upgraded version if you are serious about your business. This allows you to use your own branding and stream to multiple channels.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to be able to stream to multiple places. I like having my custom logo and scrolling information on the screen. I also use the screenshare feature a lot and this is awesome for what I do!

 ### 42. Awesome tool. Extremely user friendly.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco S. | Workforce Management Contractor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It is simple and works well. It is very reliable.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish it didn't have a lag when broadcasting videos straight from my computer. I also wish it would allow scheduling a broadcast with more time than one week in advance. I wish it would also allow me to stream to a larger number of platforms/channels simultaneously. I would also like to have more options for banner styles and have more than 10 simultaneous participants in the broadcasting studio.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can broadcast to several platforms in an easy way. It is very reliable and user-friendly. I mainly use it to reach large audiences.

 ### 43. Streamyard is so easy to use, even I can do it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marshall A. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I like that it helps me create live content and grow an audience. The tools are easy to use, and guests that we have on the show are instantly comfortable

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I don't like that we can't create a recurring show. We have to manually create one every week. Also, I would like to have more than one admin for the account, as I need other people to be able to log in and work.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Streamyard is great for doing industry interviews and video podcasting.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we're solving is connecting to customers in a unique and engaging way. Streamyward makes it simple.

 ### 44. Best web app and stable for streams, and produce shows, even podcast.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego R. | Co Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

in a year, never went down a live stream, and we do 7 shows per week, so, it's a great choice, once you understad how to do things, you can do wathever you want, even connect with multiple social media and custom RTMP.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

It needs more options to produce AV, include sounds and video options, it has improved but audio is crucial, maybe different custom credits and different options to brand the shows and streams.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stream to a TV Channel and all social media, produce a TV Sports Show in Colombia during the pandemic. Record a Podcast show and interviews for different social media accounts.

 ### 45. Streamyard Makes Live Streaming Not So Hard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the ability to stream to multiple platforms with ease. Branding in the pro version is a very nice feature. The quality of the recordings is very good. I love the ability to download separate audio tracks to allow editing for podcasts and repurposed content.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

It takes a bit of time to master the somewhat quirky interface, but you can develop a degree of confidence within a short period of time. The 15-day limit for downloading recordings is too short - particularly when you have anti-virus software that may cause network errors. I have lost a great many recordings after not being able to download them within the 15-day limit.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems with poor video quality with occasional flashes of light during live streaming. I have definitely improved the reach of our live events.

 ### 46. Affordable Live Streaming Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mercedes E. | Entrepreneur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

I love the ease of use with StreamYard's service.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I wish you could schedule broadcasts further out than 7 days.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

If you're looking for a free or inexpensive way to go live with a guest on your social media - this is the way to do it. You can even screenshare with this platform. It allows you to go live in a group or fb page, which is very convenient.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily record or go live with a guest on my social media sites! It's super easy ;-)

 ### 47. Seamless & user-friendly experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The platform is very user-friendly and very easy to navigate. It allows for easy transitions between speakers. I love how easily videos can be uploaded and played on the platform. Overlays allow for the stream to be more customized, which is great! When you started using StreamYard, we got many comments from our audience that our presentation looked so professional.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

It would be helpful to have additional people backstage. I know there is a little of 12 on the professional plan, it would be great to see this number increased. It would also be nice to be able to brand the banners more (e.g. change the font, font colour, font size, etc.).
Additionally, it would be helpful to have the comments from other platforms, such as Hopin, come through automatically on Streamyard. Especially when doing Q&A, having the comments automatically populate would be really beneficial - right now we have someone copy and paste them from Hopin into the private chat in Streamyard so our presenter can read and answer them.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Streamyard is very user-friendly! It is so easy to figure out and start streaming. It allows you to customize your stream and seamlessly add speakers or videos. Streamyard also has great support and are constantly asking how they can continue to improve their platform to make it better for thier users.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playing videos - it is so easy to play videos through StreamYard! They are not choppy and the sounds comes through really well. it is really easy to screenshare and invite guests to the stream.
There is also so much control that you have backstage. It is so easy to change speakers or throw up different banners and overlays.

 ### 48. Streamyard is awesome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

It is easy to use. And especially easy for guests to use. No downloads, no installs. I have never had a problem in the dozens of live streams I have done using streamyard

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

I have not found anything functional with streamyard that I dislike

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

It has been, without question, the easiest live stream platform to use.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I initially was introduced to streamyard because Google hangouts was terminated. I was amazed at how easy it was to use. It was actually so good, I signed up for the paying account even though I did not actually need it. That is how much I wanted to support the company.

 ### 49. As a live entertainer, the lockdown really affected my life and my business.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul A. | Researcher / Archivist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

The three pillars of Streamyard, stability, ease of use and professional appearance, is true. I lost many income streams with the pandemic lockdown, and moving online was daunting until I found Streamyard.

It helped me move some of my productions online and made it easy to appear like I knew what I was doing.

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

The app is a bit on rails, but I don't really dislike that. There are work arounds, the team is very responsive and the community is incredibly helpful

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been able to keep in touch with my local audience, and reach further afield and interact with performers and fans around the world.

 ### 50. Why Stream Yard works for me

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed T. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about StreamYard?**

Ease-of-use and reliability Make this platform good

**What do you dislike about StreamYard?**

Green screen and video playing or buggy on my otherwise very fast Mac. Spent hours with customer support trying to fix this. No good.

**Recommendations to others considering StreamYard:**

Make sure you have the best and fastest computer on the market. It works great with problems with green screening and chrome screen sharing. Videos are choppy. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2015 that screams for everything else. There's something up with this platform. For basic use it's excellent.

**What problems is StreamYard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system with me connect with a community of people, especially during the pandemic, and this has let me be actively and favorably remembered as a leader.
