There isn't much to dislike. If I had to pick something, it would be a desire for even more pre-set, high-tier templates in the standard library. Their custom design team does incredible work, but having more "ready-to-go" layouts that offer that same bespoke feel would help us scale our smaller projects even faster. I really like that Storydoc is the most important tool among all my GTM tools today. It allows me to easily create custom proposals that are beautiful and engaging. I get a lot of good feedback from clients, which helps them remember us more. I love that I can track activity and receive notifications when a client opens my story, making my sales cycle work smarter. The ease of use is fantastic, and clients can approve my proposal with one click without needing an old-fashioned signature. I appreciate the flexibility in customization and the time it saves by creating new templates without spending a lot of money on designers. This is a great tool for building out quick landing pages/presentations. So far the builder has been simple and user-friendly, it formats well, and allows us to do what we need! They're team is also very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The teams level pricing is high. Even to just add a branded subdomain to the Pro level pricing is high. I'd also love to be able to have custom document identifiers alongside a branded subdomain.

As far as the builder is concerned, I'd love to have more customizable options and more layout options in general.

Image repositioning and component sizing needs a lot more flexibility. Chart types and series editing could also be expanded. Storydoc also blocks iFrame use, which is unfortunate because embed flexibility leaves a lot to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Storydoc so far has been great to work with. I've been experimenting with it now for a few weeks to bring innovative ways of showcasing my own company as well as my clients collateral in an engaging and interactive way. So far i've used it to create an online brand guideline for my business so the whole team can view it wherever they are to keep brand consistency in all work they produce. I'm also creating online brochures for clients to replace dated printed material which they've come back with positive feedback so far.

The support team have also been extremely helpful. Any questions before signing up as well as help when creating my documents has been met with very speedy replies and I cannot fault them at all. Admittedly there is one con that i've discovered so far. Im a pro plan member and recently found out you can't upload third party fonts unless you are subscribed to the teams plan. The teams plan is very tailored for a specific audience who wants to use things like custom templates created by other designers or AI amongst other features. This isn't necessary for me as I am a designer myself. However, the feature to upload fonts to keep brand consistency amongst mine and my clients collateral is fundamental and I believe that should be a feature for Pro users. The support team have been very helpful in this regard none the less and I am hoping in future updates this could be a possibility.

A bit more flexibility on creating columns and where I can place widgets/sections in columns would be helpful to but I can imagine this would get better as more updates roll out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
