From prject inception to delivery and post install, Starwind have been superb. Always engaged and understanding of our requirements and even pushed back on some things they thought would be an unecessary expense was refreshing. The hardware is superbly quick and management interface is relativley simple. 5 star support all the way through, including the migration from old VM's onot the new hardware and followup support after the fact. There are a few 'like' to haves that other vendors provide such as de-duplication and snapshotting but as they have explained there is an overhead to these and we are all about maximising our compute and storage speeds and have not missed having those. Need to be aware if you migrate from a system that dedupes to Starwind there will be an impact on available storage to specify what is required in advance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

StarWind enabled us to move from VMware over to Hyper-V which was the goal of this project. We were able to go from a 3 server + SAN solution over to a 2 node HCA which reduced our licensing and replacement costs. We weren't told prior to implementing the system that we couldn't use the Windows based appliance due to selecting NVMe storage while specing the system. If we'd know this may have affected out storage choice although the Linux VM has been fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It just works! The best thing really has to be the proactive support - knowing there is someone there if something goes wrong 24/7 is invaluable. The solution has helped us to reduce the size and costs of running a date centre and has simplified our managment processes. Set up was easy and supported fully.
