**What do you like best about StartupSoft?**

Individual engineers themselves were capable, collaborative, and eager to contribute.

**What do you dislike about StartupSoft?**

This was one of the worst vendor experiences I’ve had. StartupSoft provided minimal ongoing support or career development for the engineers assigned to us; several told us they felt stuck in restrictive contracts and under-supported. Offboarding / transitions were painful. StartupSoft continued to take a cut even when engineers relocated or tried to engage independently. Escalations went nowhere, and contractual lock-ins created significant operational and ethical headaches. I would not work with them again.

**What problems is StartupSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We engaged StartupSoft for staff augmentation engineering capacity. The idea was to flex headcount quickly without building local entities. In practice we saw little of the promised management, oversight, or talent support; StartupSoft largely acted as a pass-through payroll layer. We spent significant internal time backfilling gaps, directly managing day-to-day work, and navigating opaque contractual constraints that limited flexibility to convert or release talent. Net result: negative ROI vs. hiring contractors directly.

**What do you like best about StartupSoft?**

They are extremely helpful in helping you source engineering talent that will fit your needs as far as budget, culture, experience, etc.

**What do you dislike about StartupSoft?**

Nothing! The only challenges I've had working with StartupSoft are typical if you are interested in offshoring engineering talent.

**What problems is StartupSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help me find engineering talent to add to my various projects seamlessly. They are great at understanding my company's tech, talent, culture needs and finding candidates that match that criteria.
