What problems is Spryker Cloud Commerce OS solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problem Spryker Cloud Commerce is solving is the connection of our end users with the backend ERP system. The benefits are twofold; one advantage is a better client experience because the ERP system is slightly user-unfriendly. The other is that the Spryker platform will handle the business logic instead of the backend system, thus relieving some of the performance pressure of the Netsuite system. Honestly, now much to complain about but some things to keep in mind are since this is an enterprise-level platform, you will need a team, plan and know what you are getting into. Be prepared to have good partners with other e-commerce solutions such as search, personalization, BI, Loyalty. etc. Since Spryker is a newer platform, the integrations ecosystem is not there yet, although this is being addressed with the new Spryker App Orchestration Platform. Recommendations to others considering Spryker Cloud Commerce OS:

Have a great internal engineering team or partner with a fantastic SI. As mentioned above, some things to keep in mind are since this is an enterprise-level platform, you will need a team, plan and know what you are getting into. Be prepared to have good partners with other e-commerce solutions such as search, personalization, BI, Loyalty. etc. Since Spryker is a newer platform, the integrations ecosystem is not there yet, although this is being addressed with the new Spryker App Orchestration Platform. The decision for Spryker Commerce OS was that it provides a complete eCommerce package that can be customized to our needs. Further, it comes with a wide range of standard features that are ready to use in different business scenarios (B2B, B2C, Marketplace). So far, we have not had any major issues with the implementation and customization of the platform. The implementation speed of new developments was lengthy in some areas, but the result then met the requirements. we look forward to adding more features in the future.
